I just fitted a set of these gas struts to my tailgate, all the rattles stopped and you can now push it up with one finger and it does not fall on your head in Winter. Just thinking how to get my zed to their place? Do you know anybody who can transport my zed? I usually go to Sly ,but he is miles away from me and it will costs ££££to transport my zed to him.. Sounds like a plan! Thx Call Ross at Japex and ask him if he can arrange transport of the car to him, also Alex will send the clutch kit direct to them. They are very helpful.. It is the trick, because when you come to sell your car it will be worth far less than the £2k extra you got on your trade in...also unfortunately sounds like they offloaded a car that had a serious problem. As a fellow Zed owner I hope you find the problem, lots of good advice on here.

I had the same issue got the kit from Zmanalex, but did it before it went to the floor, used Ross at Japex to fit it, they did a great job would well recommend them and 30mins from you.

Clutch return spring...I had this on my Merc...only a guess as not sure of the set up on the Zed.

couldn't agree more mate ive heard rumors of Ron Dennis coming back to Mclaren! Martin Whitmarsh is useless Ron never left the Team...He handed over day to day running of the Team to Martin, and to be honest its not the best car on the grid...I would look to the designer to solve that problem ..not the Team Manager. yeah i meant come back to management level He is still the Chairman of McLaren International...That's fairly high in the management stakes..Ron will never return to running the Team from the pit wall..!
