I will NEVER use cruise again had one malfunction on a hire car in France and put me into the back of a coach on way down to Le Mans a few years ago. :scare:

Friend of mine took his car in for a service and was told by the garage to pick it up at 4.00pm as he was on the bus he got there early to find a spotty kid "drifting" it around a roundabout, when he complained to the Manager he just said they needed to road test it... I would have road tested his ass with my size 12...!! :angry:

Bit off Topic. They were built in Cologne for homologation to Groupe 5 which was then the World Touring Car Championship They were all left hand drive and only in silver 2.8 liter V6 turbo LSD RS Interior, lots of other tweaks, You can always tell a genuine RS 280T as the wheelbase is 9" longer. Mine was no 188 of the 250 made. -

It also happened to me many years ago, I had a TR3A, cruising with the hood down when the bonnet flew up smashed the small fly screen and hit me on the head causing a lump the size of a duck egg. The bonnet was only held with two zeus fasteners which worked loose, after that it had two LARGE bonnet straps on it. -
Sorry to hear that, I'm sure Zmanalex will have one.as he braking a few cars at the moment.

Great build thread. always lover the E Type since I sold my 1970 Series 2, 4.2 Roadster in Rosso red. Always miss that car, but my bank manager doesn't..!
