His backers put some money into purchasing the assets (a lot less than you think) and as I said Honda financed the running of it.

Holy cr*p.Was the idiot ok and more importantly you & you're motor? Worst I've had is a small tree branch hitting the front of one of my old cars whilst I was driving under a tree ~ that sh*t me up enough I can tell you never mind a person!!. The guy was OK had a few cuts and bruises, he was so lucky if he landed on the road he would have got run over or died in the fall. He had been to a Christmas party, drank too much felt sick and went to throw up from the overpass and fell over it, 30ft drop into the underpass, straight onto the bonnet of my BMW so glad he didn't land on the roof..! Done about £2k of damage to the car, hard to get money out of a pedestrian who falls out of the air. Went to see him in hospital and he did say sorry.. :scare: That's gutting though isn't it. £2k worth of damage ~ guess you had to go through insurance then or did you just have to stump it all up yourself? either way a bit annoying but good to hear your where both ok. Insurance job I'm afraid, still got a copy of the claim form. How did the accident happen.."a bloke fell out of the sky and landed on the car". !

Rumour mill says that Mr Brawn will be moving to the Woking area after his break from F1. Mr Dennis and Brawn have been "talking" lots recently. Well that's good news Thought Ross was going fishing.. ??. I can see Ross going to work at the FIA and taking over from Napoleon..!! According to a few sources, he's taking a break until the summer. Him and Ron Dennis have been speaking a lot about after his break. I doubt Ross would want to work for the FIA anyway, he wants the competition, someone who didn't wouldn't have funded their own team for a year. He got free engines from Mercedes, used parts/things from most of the teams and worked his heart out to get that team onto the grid. He didn't fund his Team for a Year...Honda did, it was cheaper to allow Ross to take over Honda F1 and Super Aguri than make 850 people redundant and close the factory. The Brawn car that he won the World championship was a Super Aguri chassis not a Honda. Honda also paid the drivers and reserve drivers for 2 years.

If you really want to sound old..I remember when the Police had a Daimler Dart on the M1. (who knows what a Daimler Dart is).

Only my drivers mirror, that's how close it was, I ended up almost in the slow lane at 40MPH scattering traffic all around me, fortunately most cars around me saw what was about to happen and gave me some space to avoid her..!!

I'm livid...Just been to Japex for a P1, driving home junction of the A1 with the North Circular known as Henleys Corner, I'm going on the North Circular on my outside is a VW Tourag heading to the A1 driven by a small Asian woman ON HER PHONE. At the last minute she realises she is going onto the A1 and she obviously needs the North Circular, she just pulled into my lane with NO regard that I was there, forced me to swerve across the North Circular before she side swiped me. Then COMPLETELY ignored what she had done and carried on her conversation on the phone....!! UNBELIEVABLE....!! :rant:
