Porsche 959.
The Porsche 959 entered production during 1988 as promised, even though the Group B racing class for which it was designed had been abandoned before it really got started. Though obviously 911-based, the 959 was unique in many ways. Not least of these was appearance, which was highly functional, from hollow-spoke wheels to lower-body air ducts to ultra-wide tail.
This twin-turbo, all-wheel-drive tour de force was bred to be Porsche's ultimate road car.
