  1. This applies to all car cleaning materials so if you but 2 items for £10 each you get the 3 one free at £10, good deal.
  2. http://www.halfords....tegoryId_165609 not bad I imagine they are smaller than the china ones Halfrauds ones are 40cm x 35cm. just measured one.
  3. I just went to HalfFrauds for some Autoglym Bumper trim gel, and picked up a pack for £3.99 for 5, when I got to the till, the cashier told me I could have another pack for free, as they are doing 3 for 2 on all cleaning products, so buy 2 items and you get the 3 one free which will be the cheapest of the two, not a bad deal.
  4. Its always been much more fun to watch than F1 !! Check out the lucky b*gger that won the Euromillions at the weekend - he is a mechanic and amateur racer - now he can indulge in his dream of getting involved in racing proper http://www.bbc.co.uk...london-26627075 His name is Neil Trotter and he races in the 750 Motor Club Series, think he won in the BMW Championship last year.

  7. Aussie GP furious with F1's purring engines The first Grand Prix group is not happy with the product on track. Organisers of the Australian Grand Prix are furious with F1's new low volume. Even some of the sport's stalwarts were alarmed in Melbourne when the 22 cars purred towards the first corner in Melbourne on Sunday. "At first I said 'Just take out your earplugs, it's the same as before'," triple world champion Lauda told the German broadcaster RTL. "But I have to honestly say I was slightly disappointed today on television, especially at the start. Simply something was missing," he added. "Before, it (the sound) was right down to the marrow. We need to get used to it but it has lost some of its attraction," said Lauda. World champion Sebastian Vettel said driving in Melbourne felt more like being at the wheel of "a vacuum cleaner than a racing car". F1's most experienced active driver Jenson Button is also worried, especially after a V10-equipped demonstration car did laps at Albert Park at the weekend. Third placed Kevin Magnussen, McLaren MP4-29 celebrates with the team as he enters parc ferme Photo by: XPB Images"Oh my god I miss that," he said. "It sounded amazing. Those were great years for the sound of the engine, but that is no more." Most in the F1 paddock are disappointed, but Australian Grand Prix corporation chief executive Andrew Westacott has revealed he is actually angry. "We pay for a product, we've got contracts in place, we are looking at those very, very seriously because we reckon there has probably been some breaches," he told Fairfax Radio on Monday. But Lauda, who is dominant Mercedes' F1 chairman, said it would be wrong to tinker with the engine rules just because the sport is now quieter. "Everyone wants to do something about it, but you can't just change the exhaust pipe, you'd have to redevelop the whole engine and the mapping," he said. "That's just way too expensive. "Please do not change the engines just to make a bit more noise," he exclaimed.

  16. Unfortunately F1 is no longer aimed at people in the know, who are true fans, there used to be 12 rounds of F1 in Europe and 4 International. Now in 2014 there are 11 International and 8 European, so the rules are no longer aimed at the true fan, just the casual fan and the hoards of TV and Internet viewers who are mostly in Countries who don't have a clue about F1, but they are emerging markets for advertising..!! As long as the advertisers get their cost per thousand and Bernie makes another few £1billion who cares..!!
  17. I would prefer to see the best drivers at the back "fighting" their way to the front..
