Just a little update on yesterdays testing. Susie Wolff collided with Sauber’s Felipe Nasr on the first day of testing in Barcelona on Thursday. The Williams test driver and Nasr came together at turn 5 as the Brazilian tried to pass.Both cars were repaired and managed to get back on the circuit later in the session. World champion Lewis Hamilton missed the first day through illness after coming down with a fever while Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg could miss today with a neck injury. Marussia could return to the grid this season after signing a deal to come out of administration. It’s reported that the team, which has reverted to its original name of Manor has signed an investment deal with a consortium that includes the former chief executive of Sainsbury’s Justin King. Manor still has some hurdles to overcome before being allowed back into the sport including the approval of the rest of the teams to race their 2014 car for a limited period at the start of the season.

I'm still on a paper license too. Last time I renewed it, mid 70's I guess, it lasted until you reached 70 and when I moved here in 1978 there were no such things as photo licenses. Sadly, I'll have to renew it in 4 or so years time and although it says its free when you reach 70 it doesn't say anything about changing your paper license. Pete All new licenses issued are photo, if you move etc they will issue a photo license. I'm not sure if they also replace it if you have to send it off for any offences to to added though Yes if you get offenses removed you get a photo license.

Sorry no the industry as a whole, the Japanese travel is down even more. As they are very cautious and will stay at home if there is any conflict where they are going. Mind you I did say to her that's in case they get "blamed"...

My Missus is fairly senior in one of the largest Japanese Travel companies with offices in every major city in Europe as well and through out the world. She heads up part of their European operation at their Headquarters in Cannon St. Here is how this current ISIS and Russian situation is seriously hurting both Britain and Europe. The Travel industry is 30% down since end of Dec, both Business and Leisure. Reason is : Shootings in Paris, ISIS beheading Japanese citizens (and others), Ebola, and now the recent shootings in Denmark, and the on going war in the Ukraine. So I can guarantee you if the Asian travelers are not coming to Europe or Russia, most certainly the American are not..!! Maybe ISIS and Putin don't have to invade us, just carry on causing chaos in their own regions to seriously affect our lives... :scare: PS..And thats just one industry it affects... :scare:
