  1. I don’t suppose you’d be interested in a Z32, twin turbo manual?
  2. Ultimately this is the right choice. You cannot do this kind of work without taking the block out. If if you managed it you’d be making compromises you’d likely later regret.
  3. Where are they on the depreciation curve do we think?
  4. Imports are annoying like that. I’ve seen V5s for 90s Nissans that are the wrong car or worse vaguely state “Nissan Sports” etc. if I remember correctly my original V5 didn’t have the engine capacity or anything.
  5. My 300zx is worth between £15-20k I suppose depending on who is looking for what and how long I’m prepared to wait for the right price etc etc. I recon I could get a decent 370z without adding any extra cash. For transparency the other car it’s between is a Corvette but I want the ZO6 model and it would require some additional cash.
  6. Anyone who puts a fiat multipla into a list of good things isn’t worth listening to, the ugliest car produced.
  7. My current Fairlady has completely aftermarket suspension, only the lower arms are stock. I probably wouldn’t go as far but things like height and camber would be changed to my preference anyway.
  8. Hi guys, some of you may know me from previous events at japfest and simply Japanese but the long and the short of it is I’ve pretty much decided to sell my Z32 300zx. Of the short list of replacements is a 370z, particularly a black edition or Nismo. I haven’t actually driven a 370z yet but I’m assuming the driving experience between a normal and the edition versions will be pretty similar, similar enough that test driving a normal one would give me a good indication wether I like it or not. Il end up modifying it anyways. The primary reason why I fancy an edition car is that i plan to own it long term, I’ve had my 300 for 14 years. I would potentially be open to swapping as apposed to buying but I think find the right 370z and some one who is after a more vintage Fairlady is low. Automatic 370s seem to be significantly cheaper, is there a reason for this?
  9. I’m potentially looking at acquiring a 350 or preferably a 370 as a project. I wouldn’t really want an insurance write off but more a mechanical basket case. What would be fair prices? Im really only finding road worthy cars for sale. Thanks.
  10. The slightly illusive stand pass is here guys. Please save this and print it out to be displayed.
  11. We have space for 50 cars collectively guys. I'm sure some will drop out and 51 won't be a deal breaker. By all means come along still, at this stage obviously it's simply a numbers game. If we have too many they may have to park separately from the main group, that's worst case I believe.
  12. Hi guys, yup still taking slots for now. So add your names to the list. You can normally pay on the gate but it is requested you pay online ahead of time to ease entry for the organisers. Cheers.
  13. Fellow 300zxclub member and REO Howard aka bigh has stepped up to the plate and will now be guiding you in and will be our representative for the day. As I said before I will still be here upto the day to answer your PMs update lists etc etc. Cheers again Howard.
  14. Now that's the positive update out the way I have a negative point to tell you all and a request. Just thought I'd explain and apologise, I am no longer able to attend this event this year. Gutted really, as it's the first time I've missed it and with me taking the role of organising it I'm pretty embarrassed as well. I'd of thought this was going to happen due to the car not being ready, whilst that's close to being true it's not the case. It's also not a proper reason like poor health. The truth is such. There were two work rotas, these are printed months ahead of each other and we approve them before they are concreted in. Sadly I missed an error where the two overlapped, with the result of me being scheduled to work on both weekends the 29-30/07 and 5-6/08 in error, these things happen. Sadly I saw the August date and thought, "oh well that's fine" forgetting about the July date. So the basic jist is I'm working and its a commitment I cannot rearrange. I only realised this this morning. I wont be abandoning things however and will continue to answer your PMs and help out sort everything upto the day, I just wont be attending personally. Now the show must go on, literally and will. So I am looking for someone to jump in last minute and firstly lead the convoy from the rally point to the show ground and to make sure the clubs get into the show ground properly. Anyone who is up for this please PM me and we can discuss it. Again massive apologies for this pretty basic over sight and I hope you all have a great time.
