Had my baby about 3 months or so and never reset the fuel comp just let it work itself out and its settled on 27mpg.
Dont drive it mad but give it a bootfull every now and again so all things considered i reakon thats pretty good for 3.5 litre.
My use is a weekend toy though so no short trips to work and back usually runs to the coast or through sussex.
V power all the way
As I say in the guide, I fitted them as per the photo and then reverted them afterwards just didn't take photos of it
Cheers RT, in reality its a 10 minuite job in all honestly

I have shook the hand of Jimmy Page and exchanged a few words at his house and he was a genuine nice guy.
I am of course still in awe as he is a Rock legend.
Also been to John Lords house several times when he was alive and he was a really nice guy too. Always wanted to drive in with smoke on the water playing but thought that would just be taking the ****.
All to do with work................Then there was the job at Mick Jaggers but he wasn`t in..........happy days.
Just a thought
Gas springs are commonly installed with the rod in the downward position. This will allow the oil
inside the system to stay in contact with the sealing mechanism in order to keep it moist,
thus prolonging the life of the gas spring by keeping the seal from drying out.
