  1. The average horror movie stops being a horror movie if you turn the sound off. As it happens i believe there is an afterlife and there are ghosts and the paranormal exisits but it can only affect your mind as they are not pysical. You can quite easliy be frightened to death by them as they play on your mind but you cant be physically harmed by something that is not real in the sense of being an actual mass or substance. Lets face it a wispy cloud appearing as an image of a person cannot pick up a bat and smack you round the head with it but it is quite capable of making you believe it can do it. Its your brain that plays tricks on you in the same way that i am now getting goose bumps as i think about this when i type it. I always thought the exorcist was just about the scariest movie i had seen as to me its believable but that could be because of my age and the things we were told or taught when we were growing up. ( Back to religion again) My kids never thought it was all that though....lol Times change peoples perceptions of fear i guess.
  2. It can linger but sometimes its a case of Fabreeze or products like that, that you would normally use in the house and not a car.
  3. I remember when the premier league didn`t exist and spurs went down to division 2. Those were sad times so finishing 5th or 6th or 7th in the top flight is all good. We can be 3-1 up with 5 mins on the clock and still end up losing. Its always edge of the seat stuff so such a good feeling every game we win. Its just great that every season we are considered to be a possible top four even though its so difficult to finish there and we usually don`t. Always a threat.
  4. God exists he invented the zed. Black hole is what appears when you floor it. The afterlife is what happens if yer cant stop. Simples
  5. I`d want to know where its all gone in 3000 miles. Get the service invoice out and see if it mentions how much they put in. If thats correct then you could go back and tell them whats happened and ask them to check if its leaking...oil filter, sump plug etc. Dont just leave it as if its a lose filter thats leaking it could suddenly come off and lose all the oil in one go. Have you had the car longer than the 3000 miles and did it use oil before the service ? If not and its not leaking then keep an eye on it as this amount of oil usage is not normal. How many miles has the car done in total ?
  6. Not top four but still thought of as one of the top clubs and exciting to watch.....that must really get up those gunners noses. Always a yid mate.
  7. Its so they work when parking and not everytime you pull up to a car on the road. It would be a nightmare in traffic
  8. Hand bags at dawn again ladies..... tut tut
  9. Check out insurance for taxi drivers It might change your mind
  10. If your going to flush i would do that with distilled water as you will not get all of that out afterwards either and that will be less harmful to the ally. Mine had nissan green and i wanted to keep it that way. It also meant that if any was left behind i would only be mixing green with green and keeping it the same. BMW use their own type as well. Halfords do sell it and i think its either blue or green. Lots of stories on the net about problems using the wrong stuff. Why take a chance. When the nissan stuff is a good price on ebay. Mine came next day i think so good delivery and it was from a nissan garage so may have been different from the link i posted. Why not drain it and flush it out then drain it and flush it out a couple more times and then get the right stuff in. At least you will know its correct for the corrosion protection the engine needs. Doing it several times will dilute any remaining stuff left behind and do the final fill and drain with distilled so if you have plain water left behind you will know its better than raw water. Your`ll need to run the engine now and then to circulate it. I think the coolant system holds about 8.7 litres so if you fill using a litre jug when putting the antifreeze in you will know how much plain water is in there. I drained mine from the rad and then put a low pressure airline (less than 1 bar) on the bleed valve point to force as much out of the system as possible ( did it in short bursts to keep the water coming out) because being premixed you dont want it diluted with distilled water and making the mixture weak. Think i got 7.5 litres back in. So at least 1 litre of original was still in there. Hence staying with the green
  11. If you mix different types of antifreeze together it can form a jelly and sludge up mate. Its not so much that the Halfords is no good, its more a case of whats in it now and staying with the same. When you drain it you will not get all the antifreeze out. Some will sit in the heater matrix and some in the block etc. So if its still got nissan stuff in it its safer to stick with it. Search on the net for antifreeze mate and it will open your eyes to the diferent types. People worry about decent oil and then put cheap antifreeze in.....go figure..... as said before its the anti corrosion that you need to worry about especially as its an all ally engine. I admit i`m a bit anal but expect to keep mine for a long time so at the price of the ebay genuine stuff its a no brainer
  12. Coolant is not just coolant mate Your better off with the genuine nissan green stuff and you can get it from nissan dealers on ebay for good money. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Nissan-L248-Premix-Engine-Coolant-Antifreeze-KE902-99945-/150939424104?pt=UK_Vehicle_Oils_Lubricants_Fluids&hash=item2324b0d568 If you add something different you have to be careful about different types mixing together and as its hard to get it all out without a vacumn its easier to use the correct stuff. The reason they sell it premixed is so you dont add untreated water which could also accelerate corrosion within the ally block. Antifreeze does not go off as far as protecting the engine from freezing, its the anti corrosion quality that starts to breakdown and for this reason has to be replaced. Sorry to sound so anal mate but coolant is a black art and well worth getting it right.
  13. Glad yer sorted and can enjoy the car

  16. Be careful mate....their cheap for a reason Search google for IMS bearing failure. As an example http://www.addspeed.co.uk/ims-bearing-failure-prevention.php I thought about one but bought the zed instead as my pockets were not deep enough for what could go wrong. http://www.revolution-porsche.co.uk/offer/ims-bearing-replacement/ If your lucky you get it changed before it fails, if your not it could cost you an engine. I haven`t mentioned the cracked cylinder liners yet.....nightmare....

  20. I'm going to quote this, for that time when someone jumps a red light and ploughs into the side of your car. Will it just be a tiny mistake then? +1 +2 Maybe you do that sort of thing then Dblock? There's times when people are just on the change, but that's a blatant jumping of lights, no matter which way you look at it, he purposes chose to cross a red light. Yes if he did that I'd chase him and smash his window with a wiper. Are you honestly saying you make no mistakes when driving? If anyone says they've never dashed for the lights on yellow they are a liar. I tend to drop it to 2nd and floor that motha****er! ROTFLMAO when i read that one.....total class mate
  21. Well i gave it a listen and decided............................it must be a yoof fing............or i need more drugs
