Mines a 2004 and was two owner and 37500 when i bought it. First owner was doing about 2000 a year and having it serviced every year and the second owner used it as a daily and serviced it at the correct intervals. Its now on a massive 42500 as its only a weekend toy for me.

Got stopped by a very nasty copper for speeding a few years ago and whilst he said everything he could to wind me up he did ask a valid question that had a point. He asked how long i had had a licence, i answered at the time about 25 years. And he simply said, 25 years and you cant tell your driving over the limit. The reason i say he had a point is because if you drive along without looking at the speedo and try and get the speed of the car right in a 30 you will find that nine times out of ten when you look at the speedo your almost bang on if not a tadge under. Next time your out there give it a go, its surprising how all those years do give you a memory for how the speed should feel. I should point out that his reason for saying this was because my defense was that the speedo was in kmh and not mph and i though i was about right. A lame excuse and he proved his point. On the plus side He gave me an NIP and put the wrong date on it and i got away with it. It was the turning point for me though and i decided to try and enjoy my riding/driving and not just the speed. I too am now capable of having a que of cars behind me in a 30mph. Always makes me smile.

Something from that era also needs a bit of tyre wall, say a 55 or even 60 profile. Too low is just wrong

The amount of emails i get about sales makes them on par with DFS

Gsxr 750. 161 mph and still one gear to go. On private roads of course Perfectly safe and very easy to ride but a smile from ear to ear every time you give it large.

Bottom line is just do whats needed to keep the mrs happy and it will be fine Its only money and you only have one pair of ears mate

To be honest its the fuel in general that pisses me off. Injected vehicles get away with it up to a point but you try leaving some fuel in carbs for a relatively short period of time and the jets block up along with passageways in the carb body. It affects motorbikes with carbs, lawn mowers, strimmers etc and the way i see it is they dont add or do anything to help you just to get more money out of you so any petition that has a moan is good enough for me. If you want to save the planet Stop the planes as they do more damage than anything else.

I've been wanting to go back to rwd for a long time since my E36 M3 and these are starting to become quite affordable now Looking for a UK spec GT preferably silver or black with the Rays wheels but I'm open minded Went to view an 04 GT last night for £4600 but it needed bodywork tidying and new tyres all round, looks like it could be gone over the weekend anyway. Haven't had any sensible offers on the Subaru as yet, just the usual mongs off Gumtree looking something for nothing £4600 and it needed work but people on gumtree want something for nothing.....just run that past me again :lol:
