Not advisable to do but here goes anyway, if its water based and not oil then i just dab it on my tongue, you can taste the antifreeze if its coolant. Even better when it`s coming out the exhaust and you then know its a head gasket.............wonder if it has many e numbers in it......that could explain a few things....lol

Why not ask them the same question ? Could be a cracked mounting around a bolt which isnt in a blind hole and oil may come out. Pure long shot but just an idea

Finally got the internet up and running so can connect to the great wide world....lol Finalising bits for the B and B so more details to follow probably in about 4 weeks or so. Secure parking is for bikes but all vehicles will be on the drive and off the road which is extremely quiet anyway.

Just left surrey for the second time and down to the south west for the second time. Cant believe how much clearer the air is in cornwall. Even the rain doesnt make the car dirty....lol

Feel for yer matey as its not a nice experience. I got made redundant back in Feb after 13 years of blood sweat and toil so guess i must have upset someone as it was only me they were letting go...lol We are selling up and moving to Cornwall and looking at doing some B and B. Time to chill out after 33 years of non stop work filling someone else`s pocket. Yes the house price difference from greater London to the South West helps and i`m 50 so financially things are more settled as all the kids are grown up now. For me its been a positive thing and a chance to do something new ( cant remember when i last slept this well ) so try not to let it get you down. Something will turn up in the end or you will make it into what you want.

In my day it was always convertibles like mgb`s, triumph vitesse`s , heralds, midgets whatever we could afford to buy and insure. So its nice to see a younger member saving his hard ern`d and going for a " sports car " and enjoying it. Good to sense the enthusiasm he excels.
