  1. Crude`s gone down about 40% and the pump price about 14%, It should fall a lot more but no surprise if it doesn`t
  2. Arnt they something like a 1 mile turning circle and about 18 miles to stop the thing !!
  3. I`m with the OP, its an FSO Polonez. Drove a 1 year old model back in the day (1988) with 13000 miles on the clock and it felt like 113000. People today dont know how lucky they are.
  4. I think these are the mutz nutz but the prices are high along with the mileage on most of them. A true future classic and great choice. Check this one out http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1c45461487 and its a left hooker
  5. Always best to dip first thing in the morning. Get a torch and see where the hole is before you pull it out if your not sure then your`ll know where to put it back. Check on regular mileage count of say 500 or a 1000 and then you will never run out. ITS CALLED MAINTENANCE
  6. Most twin systems mean you will still have brakes but the pedal will travel almost down to the floor so if you have never experienced it dont expect it to be a normal pedal with just half the brakes coming on.
  7. Some people dont get it but the bottom line is driving something with a fair amount of power is a lot less tiring than driving a low powered jobby. And If yer got it flaunt it

  9. Gotta luv a 240. Use to walk past one (could have been a 260) on the way home from school with samurai across the back so assumed it was a tuned up version. About 1979 for those who were wondering....lol
  10. Could`nt agree more mate. Just had our astra mot`d and it went down on corroded brake pipes which i felt wern`t that bad but i replaced them,( across the back of the front subframe and a right bitch to do) then took the zed into the same place wondering what he might find as he`s obviously very particular and it went through without any advisories. It was done by the same mechanic as well and when he came into the office to sort the paperwork he said `that motor is spot on mate` so i felt well chuffed.
  11. If its MPG you want then lots of diesels will do over 50 but probably not the sexy models you might fancy. Had a BMW 116 efficient dynamics model and it was always over 50mpg but then again so was the Renault clio van...lol
