Wheel weight coming off wont make a droning noise. More than likely a wheel bearing. Does the noise change as you weave from side to side going down the road. ( Do this carefully if you dont know what your doing) As the weight distribution moves from one side of the car to the other the noise will change if its a bearing.

Yep, rattle a few bars and cause some noise in a polite but official manner and see if you can get answers in writing. This sort of thing needs to be pushed through and not ignored just because you can claim on your own insurance. You should`nt have to.

I know people like his non PC statements he makes but its got to the point where he just plays it up all the time and it gets embarrassing. He comes across as a silver spoon rich boy that has to have his own way. I read he was late to the hotel because he and may and the hampster went for a drink after filming at the top gear track even holding the waiting helicopter up for two hours. Then he started mouthing off as it was too late to get food at the hotel. He got there late so it was his fault and he still could`nt be man enough to take the blame and tried to put it on someone else. As i say typical clarkson blaming others for his **** up and thinking he can shout anyone else down. I don't like people who don't do the right thing when they should so nothing could convince me he`s anything other than a waste of space and has had his day.
