OK, tried and confirm that connectors are sided. Removed additional extenders - refit sensors and ensured connectors tight. Quick drive....no light. No doubt it'll reapear.
-
Will give it a go. Out of currisosity - are the sensor connectors same from left to right. Easy to change over connectors and see if the other side pops up as fault???
-
Cheers Fluke.....knowing my luck I could be the lucky 5%!!!! Strange it take a few miles before it pops back up.
-
JUst bought one - 20 quid from ebay. Works a treat.

Update on CEL light - been busy for a few weeks so not got around to it. Purchased a OBD2 reader and code is P0037 - which I believe is the passenge side after cat sensor??? Only one code present but both decats (as mentioned) have sensor extenders fitted plus additional ones. So query is - why is only on side popping up as a fault? Reset codes and went for a spin....all ok for a few miles but then up pops the CEL light again. It was mentioned that these sensors will show a fault if either too close to exhaust gas / but also if too far away. Anyone now if this is true? Dont want to rumage around removing extenders if it aint going to do anything. On the plus side - decats and milltek sound the dogs dangles. Not to much drone or rasp, and nowhere near the noise of some I've heard. Ideal. Now just the pesky CEL light!!! Ahhh.

Cheers Ian... I bought it off fleabay for 60 quid. Think its the same as the one a Polish seller does....which is a copy of a Strosek / Gia Cuzzo. It was cheap as it needed a bit of work to get it to condition I wanted. Needed a bit of filling to fill the gap in boot lid (difference between coupe and roadster). Bunged my Dad 100 for all the work. 40 quid for paint. So all in 200 quid. Cant complain really. I think it turned out well. Pics dont really do it justice. Obviously would suit a MG as well....LOL.
-
Each to there own I suppose, I dont mind the OEM bumpers. As for looking like an MG....dont see it myself Personally have never found a front lip that looks right....most stick out at the sides too much, hence why the front bumper is staying. The stillen is the best of bunch but defo requires lowering (as martinmac mentioned). Also the Cupra one that someone has fitted looks good.
-
Just the back end looks fat on roadsters without a spoiler I guess. And front lips would require side skirts....which would then require rear spats....so a few quid. I'm finshed now anyway.....spending no more (cough cough). Wheels Exhaust Decats Thottle controller Rear spoiler Alright, may paint the front lip in plastikote but that doesn't cost much (cough couch again).

Finally got around to fitting it. Bit of a bugger, but happy with outcome. Slims down the fat ass looks of the roadster.
-
He mentioned he already has 2 pairs on each decat, I don't think a 3rd will cure the issue more likely taking a pair OFF will fix it! have one set fitted to the extra bids already on decats.......so no need for more...lol.
-
I chose the roadster purely because never had one and the z on the hole is a limited mode of transport being a two seater....so why not. Try both but youd be hard pushed to tell the difference. Yep the coupe is a little quiter.
-
Ah ...never thought about that. Worth a shot. Will try after the hols.
-
Nope. Do you think it would make a difference?? Surely being further away from gas flow is the reason for extenders in the first place?

I work away from home Rickdon, so have collected bits n bobs over the last few months. Decats, airbox mod and D2 controller where from forum members. Fortunately Milltek had just been fitted to car when I bought it......the wheels I bought new as couldn't find anything suitable at cost to allow me to get original wheels off and painted. Unfortunately original wheels are still to be prepped.....really need to get the finger out as they are taking up space.
-
They are cobra decats which have extenders fitted. On top of that I've added additional ones - so all in 6" long. Would get the uprev if there was anyone local who could do it!!! No one in sunny Scotland as far as I know. I will reset ECU again ( a few times) as I believe the learn (a little).
-
Subby one looks better on the roadsters.....cleans up the back (fat) end a bit.
-
1) Leave it 2) Do what I did and stick a black piece of vinyl over the light so you can't see it the technical bit of vinyl!!!! Yep may be the answer.

Hey Rickdon.....mine so far. Panel K&N ilter (cause its cheap) - 40 quid Air box mod - 40 quid? Remounting front plate (free and looks so much better) - nowt. New wheels (a whim really) - 650 quid Milltek (standard ones rot) - thankfully fitted before purchase. Front indicator bulbs changed to silver (cheap) - 8 quid. Interior LEDs (cheap) - 4 quid. Decats (again a whim really) - 90 quid S/H D2 Throttle controller (still playing with it - mounted in ash tray) - 70 quid S/H Still have rear spoiler to fit (getting prepped this week) and front bumper side reflectors LEDs (40 quid I think). Luckily my Pop is a painter so spoiler work will cost beer tokens only. Spoiler is for a coupe but with a bit of work, should fit nicely to the roadster. As you can see Rickdon, a lot can be done for relatively little cash. Happy modding.

Well fitted a set of decats yesterday (to existing milltek) and noise is fine. No drone, a little rasp but exactly what I was expecting. BUT - even with lamda extenders onto existing extenders, still throw up a engine management light. SO - did the pedal dance and reset it. BUT - came back on again after 12 miles. Is it worth resetting it again and see what happens? Without upreving, what other options is there (if any)?

How to prevent eviction on home reposesion
aidan replied to Adrian@TORQEN's topic in Off Topic Discussion
agree....dosn't really matter if he was the benificiery.....if original owner owed cash on it, then someone needs to pay. Otherwise I'm signing over the house to the cat.......no more mortage!!!! To be serious though, baliffs normally have the law on their side, and will follow the rules. A few though may resort back to their roots, which means the tend to be of the intimidating type!!! I'm sure if a 7 stone weed arrived at half the houses that they attend, he'd be politely told to f**k off at best. Guess you cant have it both ways. -
Looking very good......thinking along the same lines as Cupra lip. Was there much modding needed to fit it? Also what model year cupra splitter was it? and lastly.....dont suppose you have the Seat part No?
-
do you think Perdosa would smile if he won the championship??

I forgot about Randy's misses Carl should get a full works Yam next year....but you can never tell. Maybe he'll be off to Honda. Rossi? He is still a great rider....give him a few more races. Remember Pedrobaw and George have been on they bikes for a few years now. Top three at year end: Lorenzo again (sorry guys....not what I wanted either) Pedrosa second again. Marquez / Carl...either way I'd be happy. And Carl. Dont rule out a shift elsewhere (Red!!!) ...Ducati will come good sooner rather than later.

No Be a bot more specific. If your coming from a 1.2 corsa, have very little budget then prob not. If you think the 350z is a bit slow, and want to get the best out of it, and have a few hundred quid spare....then yes. But before remap, get all other mods done so that when remapped, you get the full benefits. Will you notice remapping only....a bit. Will you notice remap (along with hFC, exh, intake etc)...yes
