Tyre choice is a dodgy science....some people like this, some that. At the end of the day, providing you buy a decent set, thats all that counts. Stump up big dosh, and you can have the best tyres outthere (on paper). Will 200 quid cheaper tyres be noticable on the road (at sane speeds) - doubt it. Had top of range Pzeros on an RS4 - they were sh*t. Changed to much cheaper GY F1s - way better tyre and grip increased. Note i changed the Pzeros out early because I actually thought they were so bad. Brand new Bridgestones on Golf GTI - utter crap. Lasted about 1000 miles before they were switched out for Avon ZZ3s (which again were a cheaper tyre). Above two examples are only my experience - but don't get hung up on costs. And shop around.....prices vary hugely thoughout the uk. PS - someone will be along shortly with a MPSS branded stick to beat me. To be fair, I haven't tried MPSSs, but people do rave about them.

FWIW - Avons ZZ3s on a S4, Golf GTI and Evo 8 and never had an issues - great tyres IMO. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

If the GT86 came in at what original pricing was suggested (knocked about) then great.....but for what it is, its too expensive. Yes you can mod it.....but at that price you shouldn't need too. Audi Sports concept??? 80K + I reckon so way out of OPs budget. And the BRZ STI version being 2k more than standard BRZ!!! Yeah right. Dont expect change from 30K. To the op....another consideration for me when looking for a "new" car is the crap weather we get...hence out of the last 9 cars I have had, only three weren't 4WD.

Yep three plugs. There are a couple of other wires (that are blanked) and not used - thought theses might have been to power from a different source rather than OBD port. Post a pic up of what you have.

Colour , spec and where you are in UK would help. There are many cars within your budget.

Was meaning on the noise front!! Buy a loud exhaust,,,then a few months later decat it...and find its too noisy.

Certain people spec cars and get it wrong?? The newer M3 V8 has some dodgy interiors as well.

Depends on whether cat back or if you plan to lose the catsat a later date. FWIW. I had a cat back milltek, which was way to quiet until decatted. Now its just right. Not too noisy (unless upper revs). And the milltek will last a lifetime.

Ha...my misses has just kirbed my front wheel. Thought about divorse but will try a touch up pen instead!! Shadow chrome may be a bugger to match though.

I did get them but I don't want the xxr stickers so they're on there without the stickers at the moment. yeah flat black and they're 18's strange that...the centre caps i got were imbosed with XXR. Totally happy with quality of XXRs (even though there are a few wheels snobs out there).....great wheels for the money.

XXR on mine too, 530s I think....but why didn't you get the proper centre caps with the wheels? Look good though....matt black?? I went for shadow chrome. Are they 18s or 19s?

yep// to true.....panels are as soft as sh*t have around five tiny dinks on mine......and one under the wing mirror?????? no idea how that happened.

Have to agree....makes the standard sluggish throttle just that bit sharper. Have mine set on SP6 - which I reckon is the best setting. The controller also fits in the centre ashtray (so hidden from view) which is nice.

Fingers crossed. And only time (and a few more miles) will tell if Ekona is a genius and whether a set of O2 extenders will be off to a new home.
