At least you got good money for your trade in. I traded my RS4 in a trade price (which was way lower than market value) but because the car I traded against was lower - the difference was actually less. BUT then the car I bought was defective, so car went back and additional finance was cancelled. I also only got back trade value on my RS4 as they had sold it on (probably at a profit - to offset the reduced price of their car). Long story short - I didn't get market value for my car. You on the other hand may actual score out of it....as you mentioned you got a great trade in price. Good luck.

the general rule of thumb up across border is "dont pay them". They will send you various threads including court action etc etc.....but if you ignore them they will go away. Only "official" parking fines is from the goverment / plod.

Mid Nov onwards ideal for me.....would even be worth draggin car out of storage.

Point to remember - haggle with salary. Most people working out that way do haggle, and therefore not all are on the same money. Yep life in Saudi would be pretty restricted. Depending on industry (oil) you might be in the middle of nowt!!! and possibly compound living. Money will be good and if your out the UK for more than 6 months / year - tax free.

Depends how you drive. If you honestly trundle around less than 5k revs.....devo 350z. If not, buy a s2000. Oh and if your of bigger stature....forget the s2000.

There is 10 Zeds going to be there Mark, but I do think a weekend up in Scotland would be good for us and you of course I would 100% be interested! Wait till Nov guys....working overseas. Just me luck you'd organize something for late Oct. If Mark is cool with that then we could set up something for November ? Sounds like a plan. Maybe Mark can give us ball park figures....how many cars etc needed to make it worth his while. Obviously a shandy or two will be free. Working overseas...but back in Nov. Scotland is nice for hols early Dec !! There is a few dynos central Scotland, one thats pretty local to me that I've used when I had my Evo. Not sure how guy would feel letting Mark use it, but you never now ! After all, its just a dyno run or two. Mark would be doing the mapping. Logistically how many revup cars would you need to make it feasible? Seems a while okay same plan was muted around but at the time I was just looking for a 350z. Did that ever come off?
