  1. Prob about an hour for each one - time you strap it down and do a few runs. Assume the rev-up is done on rolling road on not in real time (road - if you know what I mean). 3rd gear runs along a dual carriage way for a full day might attract plod.. So maybe only 6-7 in a day - and even that might be tight.
  2. Cheers mate, yep confirms (sort off) that the standard UK cars had three connection ports, while the US had four. But still strange why some uk cars seem to have four? Maybe nissan sun out of stereos....maybe the cars fitted with satnav had uk spec stereos, or maybe certain years had four ports?
  3. Am I right in thinking that when the rev-up is done, you can have the rear most sensors omitted for circuit, thus allowing them to be removed and holes in decats plugged? Just curious.
  4. Hey Hensh65 Maybe better moving this to 350general - more forum bods might notice? Has Mark at Abbey giving any indication of how many he needs to make it worth his while? Also general area in Jockland? Mark hinted he had a rolling road in mind. And lastly - probably better mentioning expected cost?
  5. Hah, already chopped prior delivery. Terms of deal so we cant breed him. Had no intention too so not worried. Stuck for a name for him at moment. Gizmo (I preferred Nizmo but was told NO by wife). Cookie. Oki. Or Killer Monster. They last one was my nine year olds suggestion!!!!
  6. Ah forgot about the 10.25 rim width...duh I was just going on what I fitted 8.75 front / 9.75 rear - so could reuse my tyres. And 700ish was a ball park figure.
  7. to be fair....aftermarket part prices in uk are a rip off compared to yank prices.....which doesnt help the car scene
  8. XXRs and Vossens cant really be compared? XXRs in 18s are 700ish, and OP can reuse his original tyres. Vossens (assume 19?) are more than double that price, plus OP would need new tyres. Worth it?? Lot of cash for an extra inch . Suppose if money was no object, then yes. But for me, couldn't justify 2.5k wheels n tyres on a 8k car.

    Brembo brakes

Yep all brembo brakes (evo, scoobies 350z) came with shims. To prevent squealing I think. The ones on the Evo were also directional and did make a difference.
  10. As I said flamez, no worries if it doesn't. Will be able to use it in the wifes car. :teeth:
  11. Pic of recent bundle of fur. Just got him yesterday....and wife says he is still finding his way around (and staying out the way of the bigger one). Still a kitten, but signs point towards him being a chunky monkey... ....(green demon eyes are optional) http://
  12. No one got a UK bose unit laying around?? Quick pic would be helpful / or even just list if you have 3 or 4 cable connections on rear.
  13. Will not get around to fitting it until mid Nov (working away). As there seems to be differing backs to bose unit...it might not work in my car. (see separate post in ICE).
  14. unfortunately, no matter what people say....you'll always shift a lower mile car on easier when it comes time for resale.
  15. Ideal......just bought new snowboard n boots.
  16. White one, blue one??? How many RSs do you have?? I obviously must be in the wrong job...LOL. Do you sell white powdery stuff that looks like talc?? Only joking.
  17. Shadow chrome on mine, nearly a year now outside, no hassles. Uk supplier. Did here when I had me Evo that earlier XXRs had quality issues - but all sussed now I reckon. Think OP was going with shadow anyway so shouldnt' be an issue.
  18. very nice...... 370hp. save up from some front tyres! you'll need them.
  19. I'd go with 8.75 fronts, they will be cheaper and you can use your spacers. I still think they will rub on outer arches with the spacers, but you can roll arches or take spacers off. With the 10.25s I'd be more worried about inner contact.
  20. Not many people running XXRs. My views on them where they'd be fine as I wont track my car. When delivered, was actually surprised...lighter than standard and the shadow chrome finish is really cool. Thought they dull down but the finish has lasted very well.......and I dont tend to clean wheels as much as I should. You'll be fine with brake clearance...but the sizes you state are very wide at the front. I have 8.75 (+20) front and 9.75 (+20) rear which slightly stretched tyres (you can never notice)......with a 10.25 rear you will be fine even with 275 tyres however reckon you'll be pushing it on the front with a 10.25, no mater what tyre you use. Thats nearly an inch out from mine, and you'll need to run bigger tyres to cope with width. In addition be careful on inner clearances s well. Hope this helps.
  21. Feel for you bro. Same happened to our cat. No signs of any foul play, healthy young cat, found dead. 99% sure it was poison but couldn't prove it. Whether he was poisoned or ate something that was toxic (highly unlikely ) I will never know.
