I have the same one up - P0037. Tried with / without spacers - and it still pop up. Reckon I might have damaged sensor will removing it from original cat - that side (drivers) was a tight bugger to get off, require liberal use of hammer?

SH*T......NOT NICE. Celebs n porsches are not a great mix really...claimed a few deaths over the years. And that porsche is mangled. What model is it?

A engine that has only done a few miles each month will not need an oil change every year. Yes the makers will tell you it does - as they need to cover every base with regards warranties and so on. Plus they are partial to your wonga. Oil does not degrade like it did in yore. Also with a low mile engine - where is the damaging water coming from? You'd need a lot of condensation to get to a level in sump were that the first slurp was water going through engine. Would be more concerned of a high miler that had missing oil changes.....but hey, each to there own. In general the 350z has a bulletproof engine. Some buyers will also prefer a "stamp" in service book every year - and you have to decide if you think resale value of stamp outweighs the costs of a service at such low miles. I'm not saying I wouldn't change it every year - but would review mileage first. FWIW I will more than likely get a service done by independent to get the stamp - but as I said, every one is different.

Mine has same sort of miles and only one more service. When I bought it I went through MOTs to compare miles with service history. Seems mine sat in a garage for over a year between MOTs so missed a service. Mines is no due a yearly service after only 1200 miles!!!! Not sure if its going to get one. Same hassle I have with bikes - my R1 has done 300 miles since last service (Dec last year) - will it be getting another yearly service?? Doubt it with so low miles. OP - I'd cross ref miles / mots / services and see what it highlights. Would have been nice for at least on oil change between p2 and p3 (3 year period). There are many who would prefer a high mile fully serviced car. Me personally - I prefer low miles and one or two missed services (due time and not miles covered).

Ah you have to nail them to the new owners floor.... only kidding, locking them in the shed is enuff.

Sell the kid? Very late model Galant VR4 - estate version of course. Plenty of cash left over. Seriously though - I'd be looking at BMs or Audis.

Yeah agree guys....the chargespeed is popular for a reason!! Painting and prep isn't an issue as my Dad did it for a living (and is now semi-retired), but is going to the trouble of all that, may as well got down the route of what Keyser has. Anyone (Keyser?) know if his is a complete bumper or a lower section only that Keyser has? Might have a look and see what the US bods are doing - sometimes they spring surprises that actually look ok (Sometimes they look sh*t)

Quick question on rear ends!! As standard the 350z has a fat arse - more so for the roadster. Now I'm collection bits n bobs for fitting over the winter - have lip (well its in the post hopefully), side steps and some springs to lower it a bit. Planning on keeping lip and sidesteps gloss black, but not sure if the lower section of rear end will then lack something. Dont like the full diffuser style (no offence - just wouldn't suit the roadster), and not keen on the little N1 side bits. Have had a look through the bodykit section - and there are some nice rear ends (there are also some terrible ones). For what its worth - think the chargespeed rear bumper is nice / as is the one keyser has on the green beastie (espirit I think) - but both look like serious wonga. Also looking for something more restrained, that I can tie in with the gloss black of side steps. Any ideas??

Switched off??? Sorry mate - had too before someone else did.

Must be the toyota - as the 1 series models with less than 200hp are a bit boring.

toyota 86 thingy? or BMW 1 series

Yep nice weather - pity about the other 11 months when its just slightly cooler than the Sun. If you come back and say the lambo is your new motor...then please stop rubbing our noses in it!!!!! Hand up who likes rain/sleet and wind?? Thought so.

Very swish.....car nice too.

Nah Docwra - its a forum mate, thats what they are for, expressing views.....else we'd all be stuck in BWM boxes!! The R33GTR does feel a lot bigger than the Z, especially width. Surprisingly though an R33GTR (non V spec) is 1600KG - which is only roughly 50kg heavier than a 350Z GT ??? On a side note - when looking quickly for the gtr weight (as I thought they were heavier) - found http://fastestlaps.com Never seen this website before. Could spent ages on it trawling sh*te.

Emm . No. Your wrong. Yes the are old, but Z does most things better?? A decent R33 GTR (not a gts) is a great car - cannot be compared to a Z (as it shouldn't with difference in prices from new). I take it youve driven an R33 GTR then have you? Youd know that the handing and ride arent up to the same standard as a Z33, that as standard they arent much quicker, that the interior looks pretty dated, that they arent as good as a 350Z on reliability and that they are generally old cars now ......... but still cost twice what a 350Z does. Dont get me wrong, they were great cars in their day (although I still far prefer 32's and 34's) but they are 20 years old now, the difference in GTST and GTR prices is a fair indicator that you are paying for the bade to some extent. Had one for two years, hence yes I have driven one a few times. While as mentioned they shouldn't be compared - here goes anyway. Both the GTR and my current Z were both low miles when bought, so reliability wasn't an issue. Economy - on par. Ride - again on par although the R33 does have four seats and was slightly better at long distances. Handling - were I am it rains, a lot! and to be fair, the Z is @*!# when its wet. The R33 would still get traction. Interior - preferred the seats in GTR, but prefer the layout of Z. Quick - my GTR was slightly tuned, but Zs are general slow cars as standard. GTRs are retailing well below 9k - so not exactly double the price of a Z second hand. And I agree, the 32 was the best one. There wasn't a lot different between 33 and 34 apart from bodywork (and weight). Comparing GTST with a Z is a bit closer. Rear wheel drive, decent torque. Don't get me wrong - agree totally that R33GTRs are old in the tooth - still great cars.

They wouldn't know what it was for.. Police know what they are talking about! When I got pulled (For a *Random* Drugs search, 10 yards from my drive way might I add) they said my car could flip as lowering it has adjusted the height and the breaks need to be upgraded ( which they were). Eh!!! That make every Corsa / Punto owned by a teenager a death trap, liable to flip at the first turn, or plow straight on due lack of brakes (which ever is worse) - oh sorry, just realized thats true!!!! Seriously - if it passes the test, its fine for a year unless PC Plod finds something that is evidently wrong. Maybe your Cel light just popped on in the last 20 yards. Even then they'll prob just ask for a re-test. (needless to say, Ikea rear spoiler / matt black windows / slick tyres could all be deemed as safety related).

Ran R33GTR for nearly two years - around the 400 hp mark (all HKS stuff). I didn't find it to be a moneypit - relatively good MPG, great fun, no issues. I may have got a good one....was a very low mile import (luckily with all the HKS bits n bobs done). sneakily would love a stripped out R32 though!!!!
