Thanks chief. I'd best get some overtime in...

I am in the process of trying to find a replacement OSF wing for my HR. Did you get a good one, and where from if you don't mind me asking? I am torn between OEM and aftermarket. OEM may fit better, but they weren't great quality. Cheers, John.

The panel that goes beneath the boot strut and seperates the cockpit from the boot? It is held on by 4 finger-tightening plastic 'nuts'. Basically, 3 of the nuts have cracked, and the clips & brackets holding it to the underside of the strut /brace are wrecked. I want to buy replacements but I can't find any. Sorry no pics, I am away from home. Trunk partition! That's what it's called! I find it stops my boot stuff sliding around and dampens the noise a bit.

Got mine in and working great but I have dropped a clanger with my reversing camera. The picture etc. is smashing, but the camera sits directly below (and completely covers) the boot release. I can open it by sliding a screwdriver in, but that isn't really a solution.. I have seen that some Z owners have a fob with a boot release button, but I only have the key with lock/unlock. Can anyone suggest a workaround? I really don't want to pull it apart again.

I got an Invidia Gemini from Funky Power for just over £900, sounds lovely but was a bugger to fit. I had to heat and bend one of the end pipes as it was very near to fouling the rear valance. Top tip: save skin on your knuckles & an afternoon of swearing, get someone else to fit it. That's my last, I had a nightmare replacing the exhaust on my daughters Aygo a few years ago and I wish I'd learned from that mistake. Actually, in fairness to Invidia it was getting the old one off that caused 99% of the grief, I can't fault the new one barring the minor bend needed. Looks and sounds ace now. Next project: uprated I.C.E. with reversing & dashcams if the weather ever improves.

Bump? I have ordered a Kenwood DMX7017DABS and a lot of the online guides are a bit vague/years old with dead links/related to a specific HU. Mine is an 08 GT with the same setup as yours. This pic from the Kenwood manual shows we need a specific adapter for steering wheel controls, but which and where from? I shall investigate further... [edit] Probably this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CTSNS016-2-Steering-Wheel-Stalk-Control-Adaptor-Patch-for-Nissan-350z-2003/371605979517?epid=1075352317&hash=item568571417d:g:h~oAAOSwV0RXsybm

Thanks for the info, I have ordered one from Dynamic Sounds.

Apologies if this has been covered repeatedly, but I have been told that the Bose head unit in my 2008 350 is an odd size and requires a fascia blank. Do they come with the head unit or do you have to buy one seperately? I have ordered a Kenwood DMX7017DABS.

I'm resurrecting this topic as during my last service and MOT I was told that the exhaust won't last another year on my 2008 350Z. I want to go stainless cat back, but some of the prices I am seeing are astronomical. I could probably source a Cobra for under my budget of £800, can any owners tell me: is it significantly louder than stock? I hate loud exhausts.

Anyone done this? I am replacing my Bose system with a double DIN head unit that has Android Auto, so I will be using that if I need satnav. Seems a bit daft having two screens (though it might look cool) and if the cubby was there I could have the usb etc. connections in there. If you did it, where did you source the cubby? My search terms might be wrong but I can't find one on ebay. There are always breakers I suppose - providing I knew wht it was actually called... Any alternative suggestions appreciated, thanks.

Did you get any further with the DIY dipping? I got my inner handle / switch panels dipped for £60 and I am happy with the results but could be tempted to have a go myself for other parts..

Thanks all. I live in Sunderland so falcon or Revolution are both fine.

Hello all. I took my Z to Evans Halshaw last year, and I thought they were **** poor. Anyone recommend a good garage that can also keep my service book looking respectable? It's only been main dealers so far.

OK, I removed the LH (looking from the rear) top plastic trim from the bar and that stopped it completely. I tried a few different things to remedy the creak, and this is what I ended up with: Split a small hose along it's length and fitted over the tint bit of existing foam. In place it looks no different but is silent. I know this is not the solution to all creaks, but it cured mine so it may help somebody.

Did you have to remove the strut completely? Could it not be done in situ?

In a related note, iPad 1 is currently £130 on ebuyer.

I have the same problem and I thought it was the droplinks - but last week I had quite a bit of stuff in the boot - no great weight but some of it was on top of the bar. Not. A. Sound. I will investigate further..

I have the OEM Birdview satnav fitted, and when I was in an ICE specialist shop he told me that replacing my Bose head unit would mean I lost the audio on my original seperate satnav. That can't be true shirley? There must be a way around it. Satnav without sound is just a moving map.
