  1. aha cheers mate, really appreciate that. Maybe when its finished I will, which isnt yet
  2. So my side situation has finally been sorted. Had enough of the nismo style skirts and then the group buy popped up for Tarmacs side steps, I thought why not! Arrived safely (thanks tarmac ) and honey checking out the latest buy. I wanted them colour coded, reason being i think they can sometimes get a bit lost being black. So I dropped the car off to the bodyshop to get them painted, as well as a bumper respray to properly smooth over and paint the holes left from the number plate and other bits of correction on the bumper. nice clean bumper, very happy And then I set about marking up and drilling my steps And fitted Then jak insisted on giving it a polish, a good job he done too, thankyou jak Jaks victory pose and a crafty flex And some final fitted/cleaned photos thanks for looking
  3. It has carbon steps, And the wheels are 19" 10j with 225/35/19 tyres
  4. I love bronze wheels, I have matt bronze myself on my gunmetal zed. Although i think anthracite will go better with the azure, I think azure + anthracite will give a really smart look.
  5. Hi mate, welcome to the forum very kind offer indeed! Im in chelmsford too!
  6. Im not an expert but i dont see how there would be, probably just a bit of minor drone on the motorway at most?
  7. I have one, but I opted out of the electric one, as I'm not very confident with wires lol. Wish I did get the motorised one now though, great bit of kit! Amount of times Iv driven round, got to my destination only to realise I forgot to put the plate back up lol
  8. +1. Someone fitted a Gtr exhaust to their 350 and it was much wider than you think, there was a pic of it at the rear of the 350 That was Scott_f91 who did that. Here's Scotts build thread; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/68764-scotts-project-zed/page__st__60 Such a cool mod and very unique. Thanks a lot GMBallistic much appreciated Ironically though someone else on here has since fitted one too, I think he got the pictures you guys are referring too. But yeah the exhaust is much wider than the zed! Certainly required some cutting! Really was surprising to see how wide the gtr must be!! so from that I'd take the boot is a lot wider too. I'll be interested to see the measurements if 3sjr is able to get some dimensions though

  10. Which brand Vinyl is it? I recently removed my hexis vinyl wrap off my bumper and bonnet, a bit of heat did help a little but it can make the vinyl a bit soft so you just end up pulling it off in bits. I did fid however upon removal my paintwork looked even cleaner! Didn't leave any residue or anything.
  11. There isnt half a degree difference. There are 60 'minutes' to a degree. So there is only 3 minutes between the left and right side
  12. Yes mate, with some concentrated heat on the old nut I was able to get the new bolts in I had to get it in as i was running waaay too much inward toe!
  13. Defiantly the Z A much nicer looking car in my eyes
  14. PAID Will the side skirts have to come off to mark out the holes?

  16. Hi mate, I was looking into this myself a little bit, and I know someone on here did do this and ran it for a while with positive comments. I have removed mine but only worth my gtr backbox, not the standard box, but I can say it did make a big difference (in a good way. Really opened up the backbox, and only added minimal drone if any.) From what Iv seen, from videos like the ones youv posted, I think it makes it a bit louder, add some rasp (some say it's good, some disagree) and as a con, mayybe add a little bit of drone. But I like it! For the cost of the mod (£10 tops for tube, hours labour max at a garage?) I say give it a go, although I'm sure many will say just get a proper system. But you Havnt much to lose by giving it a go.
  17. youll love them, and that is a very nice colour.. ill keep an eye out!!
  18. I did try to get one like that, but with the wonkey drive and the sunlight not working in my favour it came out too dark :/ ill try again in the week hopefully for you and sorry you wont regret it though, what you swaying towards?
  19. So this weekend saw some previous little touches being re-instated. And i just remembered its been exactly a year since i got the zed, havnt lost any love for it whatsover... if anything i love it even more! Recently i noticed a small 'dent'? on my front arch, looks like it came from inside and it has resulted in some paint loss, so a combination of this needing seeing to and my front bumper needing some bodyshop work, I have decided against the wrapping. For the time being at least. So after peeling the wrap of the bonnet and bumper, the eyelids finally made a return, along with another Nismo sticker i made up Friday night Wrap about to come off And eyelids ans sticker re applied
  20. A quick one on my drive for you mate, it is sitting a bit higher than usual due to my wonkey drive, but close enough
