  1. So there has been a few niggling bits regarding the HU and centre console that I decided to sort this weekend. So with a few mates over we got to work. In no time atall we had the centre console out So the first fix was to sort the low volume issues. Busters RCA mod worked a treat And Jak working his magic with his soldering iron Once this was all confirmed to be working as brilliantly as we hoped, moved on to the other niggle. The wrap. There was a few places that were suffering adhesion issues so opted for paint. Went over to Halfrauds to get some gunmetal grey made up, got home excited to get some colour on the primered plastics, only to find the nozzle was unsprayable. It was literally impossible to spray without it spluttering. So back down to halfords for an exchange to another nice looking grey. All painted and very happy with the new colour, apart from the cubby. For prep work from a previous coat of paint meant this has came out a bit 'funny' Only myself to blame, but we pressed on for now. So back in it all went. Thanks to Jak and Steve for their help over this weekend! To diffuse the dodgey paint on the cubby I quickly made up a 'Rising Sun' sticker, actually like it more than I thought I would. All In all a happy bunny, and love my HU even more now! Thats all for now
  2. Just done this also, HUUUGE difference. So pleased with my HU now! Thanks a lot!

  9. I too have spent some time looking into this, still haven't a clue if im allowed to park up in a carpark with my plate retracted. Best answer iv got is it depends on the officer. When i go to a meet/cruise thing I always have the plate up as I worry too much to put it down, I only ever really put it down if im taking a quick photo. All my mates say to me leave it down but I worry to much to leave it Cant see why it would be a problem parked up though, obviously as soon as your driving as long as its displayed..?
  10. Cheers to all the above and Scott you would say that as it's all your fault as well you know. After reading your build thread I went from thinking of getting some spacers, ..new tyres and refurbing my Rays to getting an awesome set of Rotas! Seriously though your car was my inspiration on those so thank you really. like I mentioned in the other thread, thats a really nice thing to here, so cheers mate Your car is looking awesome because of you though! You defiantly made the right decision! loving them in that colour too!

  14. Goodyear Eagle f1 ASSYMETRIC 2's Won best performance tyres of 2013 in evo magazine, although dry grip in but a fraction less than the MPSS, wet grip is fractionly better, they are quieter and as a cherry on top, cheaper. I have them on mine and love them.
