  3. So there I was sitting there watching 21 jump street, mid car chase scene, film goes on rewind and pause, explained to my friend the this needs to go on the forum, so here it is, blue z during the car chase scene of 21 jump street.. Sadly that's the only glimpse we get of it...
  4. Hey guys, so my EML has come on again (has previously probably coming up to a month) Had my code read and was to do with air something or another. The garage said not to worry, cleared it and said come back if it does it again. They said it's probably a dirty sensor or at most a spilt hose. So driving back last night my EML light makes another appearance so thought id give cleaning the Maf a go. Just wondering some pointers as to how to do this. Remove it, clean it, clean with what etc? Cheers
  5. tape it up before drilling, drill through the tape, think id be a bit scared during the whole process though haha
  6. I think its one of them things that most cases your fine, but that doesnt sound certain enough for me aha reason we are installing the bonnet catches to my mates car is because his bonnet flew open, caved in all his roof and everything, certainly not something you want happening. Id just be a bit scared about drilling into my new carbon bonnet lol heres the link to the video anyway...
  7. Hi guys, going to install some aerocatches on a mates fiesta soon so was just looking at some youtube videos as a guide really. Came across one video and the bloke explains why you want them. He said that carbon bonnets (seibon in this case) the latch is bonded on to the carbon, and so can work looks over time (through fatigue presumably). This concerned me a little so some random forum searches and it seemed a lot of people ran catches and people saying they know people who have been fine, and know others where it has flung up. So just wondering how many of you running carbon bonnets have catches or not?
  8. Really like it, always thought to myself if i got mine resprayed ill go with pearl white
  9. Nice work mate! Started wrapping mine in the past so know what a ball ache it can Be! Final result looking awesome though buddy, top work
  10. No major update as of yet but hopefully should be receiving some under bonnet carbon bits from another member within the week, so rest assured some pics will be taken once they are on Just wanted to share some pictures that were taken last weekend at a little photoshoot meet I went to. Also have some canards to go on my front bumper too now, so ill get them on after Iv given them a spray Have been giving a lot of thought to the rear of the car latlety too, was very very close to ordering the esprit spoiler, although certain angles have put me off a little. Debadging the boot is inevitable, but would like to decide on the spoiler situation first, if atall? The only spoiler I seem to not dislike from certain angles is the Blitz, which seems to work well with everything. A TS diffuser maybe to compliment the V1 spats? Or leave the Backbox on show with the bumper tuck? C/C welcome as always
  11. Jheez mate, not good atall! Hope you get it all sorted ok! Although with my previous experiences with body shops im not surprised unfortunately. I am yet to find one i'm truly happy with! After a recent respray on my front bumper, 2 months later if that imperfections including lifting paint emerged, I was told it is what it is and im being too picky.... Hope you get it all sorted ok mate!
  12. Respraying the front bumper (stone chips/bit of lacquer peel), respraying the d/s skirt (scratched by previous owner who presumably wore cowboy boots with spurs), respraying the rear quarter/bumper (few rust bubbles & lacquer peel) and possibly spraying the roof where there where a few stone chips that I touched up. Nothing much really. Picking it up tomorrow hopefully if all goes to plan. Sounds extensive haha always a nice thought getting rid of them niggly bit though
  13. also liking the idea of ipad mini fixed position
  14. have a facelift one, pm'd
  15. Since owning a car (and of course modding it) I have gone to a few bodyshops now, all of which I haven't been happy with, and a few of my friends going to other bodyshops seem to leave the same feedback. Which brings m to the conclusion a good bodyshop that is also of course fairly priced is hard to find! A recent respray on my front bumper, can I have paint lifting (in the crevice by the headlight). They basically said it is what it is. Now im wanting this repaired, along with some front canards painted and fitted, smoothed boot and a new spoiler painted and fitted, so with all this work coming up I would like it to go somewhere that I know ill be 100% happy with! So looking for any recommendations really that will carry out this kind of work, to a good standard at a good price? Cheers for any help
  16. Don't suppose that was done at reverie in Colchester was it?
