  1. Yes 19's will fit fine, believe even a member or 2 have 20's. Just remember in terms of fitment, its usually the widths and offsets that are the biggest deciding factor (too far in and dont clear the brembos or too far out and stick out the arch.
  2. Could be a potentially a good buy, after the bodywork makeover after purchase of course
  3. You can post them! thats what I shall do
  4. I intend to be using them soon too do my facelifts Heres my pre facelifts that I got painted at a bodyshop... (will be for sale soon)
  5. That is such a cool picture! bet you are excited! I was of the same thinking but I queried with a bodyshop and its like 4k for a respray because of having to remove the seals etc... so was quite a big jump than just addressing the various issues.
  6. Are individual parts of the kit able to be sourced? say the 'pre-programed e-manage'?
  7. How much?? :o I wouldn't mind getting a full respray in that case
  8. No not atall mate, constructive criticism is something I think should always be welcome!
  9. Unlike the fabricator/designer, I am not the professional, but I suppose all I can say to counter the constructive points, is that for the diagonals to clear the harness, I presume you mean a smaller 'X' so it goes in the middle? I think that will look funny, and aswell as function, the look was a big factor too, but also I really don't see how it affects it. As the bits of steel fall between each harness? And also with regards to the cutting of bits, one way you have to cut the carpet and drill into the floor? This way only 2 bits of plastic trim needed trimming.. It picks up off existing holes in the rear strut, even uses existing OEM bolts, so I suppose we just thought that was the easiest most hassle free way And yes I understand with the jig it isn't too much bother to tweak slightly to meet people's preferences, as above if people wanted to do away with the welded lug in favor of the loops, that isn't a problem
  10. Yes, you can keep the OEM seatbelt mounting points no problem
  11. That was there to stop the belt, due to the radius of the bar. That won't be there if people opt of the hoop option
  12. Right guys, I have spoke to grant. The reason he hasn't included the little loop things is simply because it doesn't need them. When the harness is done up properly it will not slide along the bar away from you. But obviously it seems most prefer the loops to be there, he said he can add those in at no extra cost. He may weld them under neath however to help with the aesthetics
  13. 70-80? Looking at the above picture (the MSA standards one). Side view of the seat, if the bar was exactly horizontal in the middle of the preffered range, that is 0 degrees yes? Well this example is slightly higher than the 0 mark, but within the 10 degrees tolerance, and still in the preffered range. Like your picture posted is not horizontal either, but still within the 10 degree tolerance but the other way. They would wrap around the bar. They will not slide about as the x part will secure stop one sliding, and the other strap is stopped by the lug near the window side

That is so cool, id love one of them!
  15. Like mentioned before, each strap goes either side, and with the height its within the 10 degrees that the MSA require...
  16. cheers guys, I'm very pleased with it. May change my rear tint to a lighter shade to vaguely expose it And yes Ian it is haha
  17. Yes thats righ matet, looking at the last picture, one strap being to the left of the 45 bit, and the other on the angle, held in place by the lug Cheers, and it sits within 10 degrees of the top of the seat which is deemed acceptable by the MSA
  18. How comes? One strap is held by this lug, the other is the other side of the x bit?
  19. Got my X brace in! Thanks to grant at GC Fabrications. I think it looks excellent! I asked him to try and do me a burnt affect opposed to a powder coated finish, and im very please with everything about this brace I will set up a group buy soon for those interested aswell And a couple of pictures hoping to show what we did with the plastics and how nice we got it all fitting...
  20. Yes all fitted mate! Got it in yesterday! I'll upload some pictures tonight in both my project thread and here, and then maybe set up a group buy for those interested? Keep an eye out here tonight man
