  1. Hi everyone, Yet more apologies for being away for so long. Got lots going on like procuring parts and tinkering with the bits I already have. Anyways here is a pic of the work I was doing last night... The lock is coming along nicely. Still more to get but my nice new ARB is already getting in the way so not sure what the future is of that yet. A bit more camber and caster plus a wheel spacer should get me a couple more degrees
  2. Whereabouts are you based? we can point you in the direction of your local track HIt up some of your local tyre places and see if you can sweet talk them into selling you decent part worns for cheap or free
  3. Good work man nice control Think with the amount of Z's coming through we should try to do a 350 drift day with a little kidney/donut area for people that want to see what it's all about Keep it up
  4. Nice one man, keep me posted Not at all we can all appreciate it It'll look even better when it's glowing red on the dyno
  5. Ok I have good and bad news for you all... The bad.... The exhaust system isn't complete. Reason being is that I haven't got the real bumper yet and we didn't want to guess where the tailpipes will need to go so have left it until it arrives. The good The car is back in my workshop with an 80% complete system and now I can get on with the other bits that need doing yesterday Oh yeah and here are some better pics of Jason's hard work Nearside Header Offside Header Awesome collector welding Center section The two pipes that go from here to the back and weave around the anti roll bar are in too but I haven't got a pic of that yet. We also got to work on modifying the subframe to accept the GTR diff Here's Jason with his awesome TIG set Here's the additional mount we had to put in the subframe because the GTR diff has two mounting points on the backplate. These will both have solid diff mounts so no flex or movement will be happening We put a piece of alu tube through and welded an extra strength plate on it for good measure Then we built it up with the CS supplied Eibach ARB and Octet supplied Whiteline droplinks Had to give the ARB a little bit of extra clearance In situation Then for a bit of surgery on the V8 The North Star popped by for a look too This was needed to weld up an unwanted coolant port on the side of the block that was getting in the way of my engine mount This is pretty much you guys up to date. This week I'll be measuring up the brake lines and starting to get things like sorted Enjoy
  6. Haha yeah man, we need to do a few swaps text me when's good and we can meet up
  7. Happy New Year to you all Hope you all had a good Christmas. I did now ready to crack on with this monster as the deadline for completion is drawing ever closer and there's still loads to do. Anyways I will be heading to Clark Customs tomorrow to help Jason out with the final touches on the exhaust system and hopefully to bring her home to crack on Here is a little teaser of the outstanding work that Jason has been doing over the Xmas break Better quality pics to follow soon just wanted to wet your appertite
  8. Put me down for some of the canards for the v2 :-)
  9. Fit a complete weld in cage, that'll be the easiest way
  10. Not yet but I will be looking for volunteers, got to get one made first and then sort a price. I think I will call it the " BG Drift Wing", what do you think? Sign me up for any testing
  11. It's already been said but a big spoiler at a reasonable price would be awesome. Think there would be a lot of people without Z's that would be interested too
  12. Congrats man Car looks sweet just needs 2 more cylinders under the bonnet
  13. Cheers Matt for the update, luckily side exits like that aren't in the plan
  14. Thanks everyone for your kind words. I know that Jason will be reading this so keep spurring him on to keep up the good work Olly don't worry we'll think of something a little different for the tailpipe
  15. Well as the xmas presents keep arriving they keep coming in for the Z as well Mocal cooler and stat for the transmission OBP reversed handbrake, master cylinder and brake bias valve And here are some pics at the start of the exhaust Love these Thank you Clark Customs Merry Christmas

    Engine Bay shots

Think I've got a way to go yet but getting some serious inspiration. Great work guys
  18. Does look interesting, still trying to work out whether I like it or not. The winner for me would be if it was only RWD, with a 4WD option like the old GTR and GTST options for the skylines
  19. Better see if you can get that forza guy you showed earlier to have a bash lol sounds nice.
