  1. Already in talks Didn't know they did wraps down there too You could do this and then do the drive down as running the engine in I've got a spare room not too far from RT too If we go that route I might have to take you up on that man but doubt I'll be driving it will be a trailer queen at the beginning
  2. Cool I'll give him a look Yeah if you wouldn't mind having a chat that would be great
  3. Thanks for the input man yeah please share the pics of yours when it's done. Will be nice to see, also who are you having wrap it? Yeah I know that would be awesome, the trouble is time as always I've never been able to do the designs on Forza hence why I asked the guys on here to lend a hand. At the moment Stevo's design works well but still waiting until xmas time before I make my mind up completely Agreed man, think this one might need to be put lower down the pile Can see what you mean man. Originality is the way forward
  4. Cheers matt I don't know if it's cos forza did it with gloss black or what but I'm not sure about it on the Z. What do you think? Still thinking that Stevo's design is my fav. Good spot man think I might have to see what he can do
  5. Thanks man, yeah there's some more interesting stuff happening now than just welding so keep watching
  6. Cheers man This time it wasn't a Blue Peter style effort I actually had my vernier calipers, set squares and stuff out. I got the diff in the position I wanted and went from there. Made a couple of designs from a full saddle bracket which I changed to the cube design and then Diemax refined it a bit more to suit the machining process. It wasn't very expensive the guys up at Diemax Motorsport are very reasonable but the speed in which they do the work and customer service is awesome Cheers mr Lexx not this time but don't you worry the Shreddies box is not far away and sure it'll be making an appearance soon lol
  7. you should have a trip up to teesside man , think you'd really enjoy that track. Or let me know where you're thinking. Could meet up with Stevo at norfolk. p.s. matt you still need to do a design to be in with a chance
  8. You provide the car and I can help out with some drift lessons
  9. Right on to the diff again After some measuring and a bit of design work from me, I forwarded some models up to Diemax Motorsport and they sent me these back In the kit are the two front offset bushes and the two solid rear bushes Fitted Then in the car (Note the tank is back in too) I need to remove a bit of meat from the bottom of the diff as that's now fouling on the rear ARB but will do that when the car comes back from its exhaust Now on to fitting the rear arms not the best pic but I was only quickly fitting these to get the car on the trailer The end result!! I hope this helps gets you guys up to date, sorry if I have missed some of the detail but I was really against the time to get the car back on to four wheels so I could take it back to Clark Customs to have it's exhaust made. Luckily I did it and now it's there for two weeks and hopefully the next time I see it there will be a nice shiney exhaust system there If you have any question comments bash them up and I'll help where possible Cheers guys
  10. Hi, It's taken nearly a fortnight but here are the pics I have promised you... No the engine is in place the next big thing is to make the GTR diff fit where the 350 diff should be.. they don't look very different First fit (piece of wood to hold it level - highly technical lol) Something required to fill in this gap More to come on the diff later. Next... Engine and trans in it's final place Gearstick mounted The suspension unpacked and ready The front end stuff - GT MAX kit, SPL camber arms, Eibach ARB, Brembo GT kit 14" floating discs, whiteline drop links First attempt at fitment. At the moment not much lock over standard, also I had to fit the suspension on the wrong sides because the calipers catch on the remote resevoirs so a bit more work to get the lock I want. Plus I'm not that impressed with the quality of that kit either so think I will have to improve on a few bits Close on the reservoirs at the moment Lower arm A bit better this way round Quick shot of the brakes SPL Arms Before the upright gets fitted
  11. What Stevo said lol and you can be first in the queue for passenger rides
  12. Right guys now I've found a new home for all of my ultralite wheels I know need to push on and purchase the wheels ready for next year so we need to nail down a design so I can choose a colour. Colour choices are white, gunmetal or hyper Black. The wheels themselves will be revealed soon ;-) Stevo liking the last big blocky design lol But is there any chance someone could sharea similar design to the matt black and orange design? Please :-) Cheers Bizz
  13. Will do buddy but now the car has gone off to have is exhaust made there isn't much to see lol. I've got the week off before xmas as well so might be worth popping back then too :-)
  14. Lol if my teeny rotisserie could handle the mammoth 350z shell yours would defo support the lightweight E-type body but can completely emphathise. glad my build has helped you crack on with this
  15. lol Stu the first time you walk in and start working on a car thats in the air on its side is a bit worrying, not to mention the first time you actually turn it over but you soon get stuck in and not worry. Think Leonk will back me up on that
  16. Yes sir think it was actually THE first purchase I made for the beast. Thank you!!!
  17. I'm stuck in Sweden cos of it too hoping the bridge to Denmark opens again tomorrow. The wind here is like nothing I've driven in before. Hope evryone effected in Oct's post is OK
  18. I've done that Great restoration man you've got your work cut out there but what a fantastic machine to be working on. You're going to end up with a rear classic and it's nice to see something being brought back to it's former glory!! Looking forward to seeing the end product!! If I can help at all just let me know
  19. Lol yeah man that's an Eibach one courtesy of CS it's pretty massive. Got to do some modifications to get the rear one to fit though as the GTR diff I've fitted is getting in the way so fingers crossed I can get around that when the time comes Cheers dude. Hahaha yeah it does look a bit like the tumbler Hope it goes like it too
  20. 2014 Road trip, see you there! lol Seriously considering it. Always wanted to do a drive like that. Now I have the car, whats stopping me And i'm sure we're not the only ones who want to do this. Sign me up too I'd better go buy some tyres!!
  21. Cheers dude I haven't dropped off the face of the earth or got trapped under the car, now in Sweden for work but forgot my bloody camera so will just have to upload these teasers to wet your appertite for the pics of the work to come when I get back in the UK this weekend Front end parts On all fours!!!! A bit dark and blurry but you get the idea
  22. YES!!!! come on guys where are you hiding?
  23. Yeah I've got the kit on but haven't ground the bump stops and stuff down yet to get the lock aslo the rack isn't very centred. I'll have a look tonight and see what I can do. If I can get something decent I'll put a pic up also I'll hopefully be making some other little mods to get some more lock later. Fingers crossed it's all worth it
