    ROTALLA TYRES

It was the same with my car when I bought it, it had Rotallas all round.. Maybe it was a bit more balanced than yours, but still, they were pretty bad.. On incline in wet with esp off they would just spin and the car hardly moved at all, lol. After it spun me 360° once, I decided its time for a new set. I would also advise you go with the same on the rear as in front. If not, at least in theory, the car will either under or oversteer..
  2. I would go with 25mm front... stock anniversary rims 18×8, et30, 225/45/18 lowered, no rubbing
  3. Try sticking cruise control on at 50mph, think I managed about 37mpg doing that! Remember to reset the trip comp once you've got cruise on to make sure it just reads that section of the journey! Yeah...i managed about 31mpg with cruise set to 80mph!! Although this lowest fuel consumption debates are usually useless, I must add my 2 cents..40mpg is totally achievable, I've done it on my trip to Germany (Nur). Mostly highway with a detour to see Hockenheim ring and a few other stops. 1000km (621miles) with still a bit fuel left in the tank..
  4. Yes, they should spin freely, had my wheels off several times and they've always rotated fine. Pete Hey guys, I have a question about this kind of topic... Can somebody please check my video and tell if this is fine? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hveLucsT9Ho This is on the rear left side (with the right wheel on the ground) and I'm trying to spin the disc as hard as I can! The grinding sound is not coming from the hand brake tho, but from the pads. It seems strange to me that it's blocking so much and that you say that it should spin freely, because when outside the car and in neutral, the car doesn't feel heavy to push with hands (my previous golf5 gti had more resistance) and even if I'm on a slight incline, the car starts to move. Also after driving on the highway if I coast and stop without using the brakes, the discs are not hot. So is this fine or there shouldn't be any grinding at all? Thanks for any replies
