  1. Thanks Lexx. Has never done it before. The light which remains constantly lit is the malfunction indicator. ?? What it is. How do you do a reset? Low battery voltage may triggered some fault code in your ECU. There is a way to read and erase it without a computer, but it's not easy. I would recommend to get it checked with a code reader (you can get one for a few ££) or at your local garages. If it can be erased than fine, if not let us know what the code is. I hope this helps.
  2. Yes Camber and Toe are affecting each-other. If it was a Cat D than yes there is a chance of having a parts bent/damaged causing the Camber to be out of spec. this can be find out by measuring of reference points on the chassis. If this is the case than depending on the parts it can be replaced or other parts (like Control Arm Upper-Inner Eccentric Kit) can be fitted to correct the values.
  3. If it's the disc, than you can avoid it by applying the brake gently before you park it up so the pads are heated up and the water (rain drops) evaporate so the pads and disc not going to stick together.
  4. I'm sure I only need one attempt to get it right (Don't really see why did it take 3 garages to adjust a simple car like the 350Z ?)
  5. Alignment then for sure Go for proper laser job might cost you £100 but well worth it given the price of decent rubber Than surely I'm doing it too cheap as alignment is free with P3 services otherwise only £45 inc. VAT at my garage (plus I have a much better machine than a laser one ) Iv'e seen that machine I think I should get mine checked now I have new rubber shouldn 't I.... I thought we checked your last time if not, just pop in anytime, I'm sure we can do a very good deal for you
  6. Thanks, I hope all my customers thinks this too

  8. Room lights (just like almost everything in the car) switched by your BCM (Body Control Module) and it's also giving signals to the factory fitted alarm. Your best options to check data monitor with Consult (or other capeable code reader/scanner).
  9. I would definitely check the alignment to make sure the camber/toe are not excessive.
  10. If it hasn't got a dot on the outer circle it could have too much paint or they are not genuine ones. I will update you with a picture on Monday.
  11. Of course: the cheapest one (but good enough quality) made by Xvision (the company supplying main dealers like Ford) or Genuine Nissan also available on request. (Sensors are colour coded, price includes fitting and VAT).
  12. Back door lock getting the power from the BCM (Body Control Module) there isn't a dedicated fuse for that, so if only that door doesn't work I suspect a wiring fault or the lock failed.
  13. Parking sensors are available from £180 fitted, inc.VAT
  14. Depend on the paint itself (high metal content or very thick layer can confuse them), but usually they are wrongly positioned (dot on the outer circle should be up-wards) or faulty.
  15. If you are close to us I would be happy to have a look for you. Does sounds like it is a key/communication or steering lock issue.

  19. I hope you are happy with the grip now
  20. That's P0420. (Bank 1 Cat. fault from my memory.)
  21. I love both of these. Great find thank you
  22. As today is the first day of the festive season, I would like to wish a joyous Holiday and a Happy New Year to all of you on this forum. I also like to sincerely thank you all for the support and feedbacks, it was a fantastic first year in the business at Kaizer Motor and really looking forward to seeing you in 2013. Best regards Sly.
  23. As far as I know Nissan modified the 5W30 oil to a LOW ASH type so it can be used in the new turbo diesel engines with particles filter and that's why it's shows D.P.F. on the tin. This oil still can be used in any other engines where this grade (5W30 fully synt.) recommended like the 350Z or the 370Z. (I'm only going by Nissan's technical bulletin back in 2006 when they introduced the 5W30 DPF oil, I hope this helps.)
