My car originally came with Dunlops, but I later switched to Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (PS4S). Currently, I have Pirelli P Zeros on both the front and rear, but the front tires need replacing. I’m considering going back to Dunlops or Michelins, or maybe trying the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric since I read they are softer. Yokohama Advan tires also seem to have good reviews and are reportedly softer as well. Thanks !

Thanks, I’ll get the belt checked, and yes, it’s all stock. I’ve just got to work now, and after driving for 20 minutes, I was turning on full lock, and it seems fine—it’s only an issue when the tyres are cold. As I said, it wasn’t a problem before, so it can’t be physics 🙂 . I’ll try softer tyres and hopefully, that’ll sort it.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I’m experiencing a similar issue with my 370Z Nismo. My tires are skipping badly, and I hear a metallic clunk when the car judders. The clunk seems to come from the front and it’s especially noticeable and embarrassing when leaving a car park. I’ve read about the Ackermann effect and cold tires, and people say it’s normal and unavoidable, but it feels worse lately. My PAS fluid is fine, and I’m currently running Pirelli P Zero tires, which have hard sidewalls. I don’t recall noticing this issue with my previous tires (Michelin PS4S or Dunlops) in the past five years of owning the car, so I’m considering switching to softer tires to see if that helps. I also notice some noise on full lock when driving up or down the spiral ramp of a multi-story car park, even with warm tires. My tire pressure is set to 35 PSI front and back. Could alignment help reduce the skipping? Lastly, after driving a rental car for a week, I noticed my steering felt stiff when I got back to the 370Z, but it seemed fine after a few days. Maybe it’s just the nature of the car. If I ever decide to sell the car, this could put off potential buyers, and I don’t think they would accept “it’s normal for this car and it's just physics ” as an argument—I know I wouldn’t. Looks like I’ll have to sell it in the warm summer, lol. I’ll try to record a video and add it here later. I’ll probably take the car to a garage to have it investigated, but I was wondering if anyone here has managed to fix this. As I mentioned, I didn’t have this issue before, so it doesn’t seem normal to me. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

The pictures and videos shared here are simply amazing ! Gutted that I couldn't make it, definitely will be attending the next one ! While browsing the pictures I spotted my old 350z from a decade ago! Good to see her still alive and kicking. Although, I have to admit, she has gone through quite the transformation since then if I didn't see the number plates I wouldn't recognized her lol. It's like she's been on a journey of her own and I'm both surprised and impressed with the changes she's undergone over the years.

Then they should defo get rid of rear camera .... I never damaged any of my cars by hitting a kerb etc ( touch wood ) but wouldn't mind to have an extra help in situations like this where lets be honest u can't really judge how high the kerb is in milimiters. Well if you can kudos to you lol but having a parking sensors doesn't make you less of a driver...

Hi, Sorry for spamming in your topic Payco lol but no point for me to start a new one. I am looking for new set of tyres for my 370 Nismo and unfortunatelly there is still no MPS4S in 245/40/19 size at the EU market. The only ones I could find were the Pirelli PZero and Dunlops same what I have now. Ekona you do recommend the above setup but I am a bit confused as that tyre calculator https://www.errolstyres.co.za/odcalculator says that it isn't ok. However when you check 255/40/19 there is no issue. Should I get higher profile then or is 35 still ok? Also how are the wheel arch gaps with the lower profile tyre and does it make the car front much lower? I have huge speed bumps where I live and even with the original setup when I drive over it I can hear like I am scraping the bottom of my car. Many thanks Damian
