Bear in mind that no aftermarket strut brace has any form of tension adjustability I can't believe that there is an imperative to set the standard brace to a specific tightness with zero tolerance.
"Good 'n tight" would be seem sensible OR approach one of the independant dealers and ask for their opinion - or if close enough ask them to do it up for you.

Can I have a set of DE engine cover bolts only in silver please (to match my set from 1st buy).

The carbon surround is from Evo-R.net.
Now some members on here have had problems with very VERY long delivery times and poor comms from Evo-R. All I can say is I have ordered twice from them and in both instances the items have arrived swiftly, well packaged and superbly moulded. Also note that each time I had to pay import duties.
Having said all that I am more than happy with my purchases.

Meet at some suitable location and convoy in would be my vote.

I prefer something round and substantial in my hand... so... fittted the MOMO RaceAir in perforated leather to match my steering wheel.

I have Milltek and Berks HFC and find them a great combination. As long as all warmed up, MOT won't give you a problem.

"Those" vending machines do exist... I lived in Seoul and Tokyo for several years (preferring the former to the latter) and yep there are some unusal purchases that could be made (so I am told ... ).
David

I have a completely standard one available too.
David

That's the setup I use (DAS-6) - had it for about 3 years also from Polished Bliss - and it gives a great finish. Def recommend the Menzerna polishes.

I am happy to be different - I don't think it is that bad!

This may very well be the best looking Zed on here.
Yep - CERTAINLY the best wheels - much lusted after...

The standard Milltek is virtually silent, possibly even quieter than the original. I was quite disappointed when mine was fitted. It was only once I had Berks HFCs fitted that the true sound of the exhaust was liberated.
I certainly don't find it intrusive or "drony". It is purposeful on idle, meaningful on acceleration but can be lovely and quiet at motorway cruise (even "around" the speed limit...).
Not sure I have helped!

Wicked coatings dipped my cam covers (see my build thread) - superb job.

Abbey Motorsport have yesterday fitted Hawke ceramic pads to mine (Brembo calipers).
Too early to comment about dust but they feel very effective and certainly not noisy (running Stoptech discs and HEL lines).

Mark will give a more considered view but I would say yes it should be.

Loving the new brake setup Mark - even on my short trundle to work the improvement is significant - kudos to you all once again for delivering top quality results.
For other readers, the Abbey techs fitted 4 x StopTech grooved discs, Hawke ceramic pads (Brembo suitable), HEL lines, Super Blue Racing fluid.
Great setup (especially as they took the time to properly bed them in with requisite heat cycling) - delivers the firm pedal that I prefer, good bite even from cold (suspect once they are properly warmed it will only get better).

Are these a direct replacement for standard leather seats in terms of electric adjustment and full airbag provision/connection?
David
Hi David, to the best of my knowledge the fit mechanically is identical. These seats have no electrics or airbags so wiring shouldn't be an issue. I'm not sure about airbag sensor / dash light though, somebody with more experience would have to answer that one i'm afraid as i have no experience. I hope that helps.
Thanks but I want to retain airbags - good luck with sale.

Collected mine from Royal Mail office this morning, printed off the pics as a guide.
With a nice weekend weather being forecast this might see me buried in the engine bay (as always much to the amusement of my fellow apartment dwellers) OR I could wait a couple of weeks until I move when I will have a nice double bay undergound parking area at my new apartment...
Either way looks line fun time and give my engine bay an early spring spruce up (now that I have my plenum and cam covers all blinged up!).

I would love to try this on the camaro but don't have the balls lol. Got a quote for 245 to do a full detail and swirl removal
Is a LOT less scary than you think!

DO NOT BUY FROM EVO-R'S WEB SITE, I DID IN JUNE LAST YEAR AND NEVER RECEIVED MY ITEM OR A REFUND AND THE CON ARTIST JUST IGNORES MY E=MAILS
Sorry you have had that experience, all I can say is I have twice bought from Evo-R without any issue. But your warning to others should be heeded.
David
Would YOU sit there..??

Likely to be at Grand Canyon later in year but there is NO way on this earth I would venture on to that!!!
FFS - it makes my palms sweat just looking at the picture!
Funny thing vertigo - doesn't bother me in an aircraft (regardless of size) but terrifies the bejeezus out of me on something like that!
Can you imagine what it took to build the darned thing! (uhoh there go the palms again...)
