Mate do you know if the cobra for the 370z sounds anything like the 350z model???

This quote, as well as all the others have definitely got me wanting more 370z action. It's exactly the insight I was after, thanks guys....gonna get back out there and keep searching I have the extra 2k there but was wanting to wrap it (I've posted about this previously) so was saving it for that maybe ill just spend the 16k on a black edition if it comes up. The 2011 models are starting to appear now for that price range, I believe due to the new plates coming up in March. I've been watching all sites for over 4 months in anticipation for the perfect upgrade

I've been looking for a 370z in the region of 14k for the last few months but my insurance is coming up for renewal in February so the search has become a bit more serious recently. Today I went to a Nissan dealership who had a Feb 2011 registered zed up with 29k miles on clock for 16.5k. I went with the hope that I could get them down from 16.5k to 14k...didn't really have any luck and left a bit unsure about whether to continue my search or not. I loved the look of it however the test drive was the part which surprised/let me down a bit. I felt myself comparing it to my current 350 which has a cobra exhaust on it as well as JWT pop charger so the sound was instantly a minus on the check list (I kind of expected this however as it's fairly obvious). The salesman didnt have a clue about anything. Someone on the forum told me to go with any 370 2010+ as it has the upgraded satnav? I asked the salesman this and he said he doesnt think it had it and that they would only be in 2013+ models...any light on this people? The guy also mentioned there was no sub in the 370 is this correct? The drive was probably the biggest disappointment I felt a loss in terms of the handling and enjoyment I get from the 350z; I didnt get that feeling where you can feel the back end pulling round the corner..the 370 seemed to be alot more "grounded" if that's the right word. It was smoother but yet disappointingly safer somehow. The clutch was lighter which the salesman kept telling me was a good thing however it just wasn't my 350z's heavy clutch which I have grown to know and love. I left feeling like maybe I didnt want a 370z and that I need to look elsewhere but somehow I feel disloyal to the zed brand after how much I have enjhoyed 350z ownership. I'm interested to hear what any 370 owners (Previosu 350z owners) have to say about their experience with owning one and if they have been happy with it overall - pluses and minuses. All comments appreciated as always guys P.S The salesman came back with a ridiculous part ex figure for my car and wouldn't move at all on their sales price....effectively I failed on knocking 2.5k off the asking price...I didn't even get £2.50 off it

I got another quote from Yianimizze in North East London at 1.7k for the Hexis wrap red satin chrome according to posts put up earlier they are one of the best in the business. So the rust thing stated previously is due to a crap job u think? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes mate they said it's about a three to four week waiting list at the moment and would take no longer than 4 days to finish the job...miles away from me but would be worth it for a decent job. WIll wait and see what price APM come back with they did mention there that as they deal with 3M and its a hexis wrap then they wouldn't be able to guarantee it etc. So is the premium connect the software found in 2010 models+?

So APM need to look into the pricing as the wrap would be bought in from Hexis in the colour i'm after, however Yianimize have stated a full wrap including sills etc. for 1.7k so have knocked 1k off my best offer already! Im thinkining I may go for the wrap option just need to keep an eye out for a well priced silver/grey 2010 370 now. I hear that the 2009 model's satnav/head unit isn't as good as that on the 2010 model...

Hmmm see I was preferring the darker Red on the GTR but im not sure if the 370 will pull it off quite as well as the GTR

What do you guys reckon the the red satin over the blue??? (GTR images above) - Damn I wish I could afford one of those!!! There is a 2011 Nissan 370Z GT in blue for sale on the Autotrader website over here in Belfast. Only 13,600 miles. Looking £17,750 but I think it has been advertised for a while so maybe room for negotiation. Might be worth a cheap flight over via Easyjet or Flybe. Nice one Richard worth a shot I suppose however coming down by 1,750 on a car with that mileage and age may be a little ambitious...still no harm in trying!!!

Nice one guys fairly dominant answer there..I'll hold off for the Le Mans. Grundy that is effectively the same situation I am also tempted by the charcoal black edition but again they are rare...DOH! Hi guys Bit of a strange topic but i'm currently looking at buying a 370z and selling my 350z. I was really after a Le Mans blue 370z but i'm starting to realise that these are hard to come by. My budget is 16k MAX. Currently there are a lot of grey options out there for reasonable prices (One has just come up on Autotrader for 14k)..personally grey is not a colour I would go for and so I am starting to consider buying in a colour such as grey (Which im not a fan of) and then using the remaining money to potentially wrap the car in a colour that I want and that is unique. I've come across Red Satin Chrome and Blue Satin Neon as colours that I think look amazing however these were shown off on a Nissan GTR (TLC Detailing) and so I am a bit concerned that it may not look quite as good on a 370z. Was just really after some opinions on if anyone else has done or thought about this way of buying or advice on what they think the best step would be. I have only had one quote on the wrap and it was 2.7k which is a HELL of a lot of money especially if I end up not thinking it looks absolutely unreal. Do I buy and wrap or do I hold out for a Le Mans blue to come up for the 16k budget?? Below are the images I have seen of the GTR
