  3. May do next mate, got some viewings on autotrader this week first before I throw any more cash at the sale Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Ok so i've added some vids to the advert just to show the condition off a little as well as the exhaust note Interior Driver Side Vid Cobra Exhaust Demo Vid Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yes mate the EML shows when just the electrics are on ie. the engine isn't running so no worries there. Sounds like you got a bargain. I'm still fairly confident I've priced it reasonably by all means if anyone does want to make an offer then I will certainly listen. Without the exhaust the car is just nowhere near as good if people want a stock one then fair enough..they can go buy one and then later find out (like I did) that it needs an upgrade. Extra £900 to fork out after purchase í ½í¸œ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Totally agree with ya, maybe do some driveby videos or some like I've done. I did a fantastic ad for my Supercharged FN2 and it sold for full asking price. The dude even transferred me the full amount £13,500 without viewing, and he paid me £500 to transport it to Wales. And this was just before Xmas too! So I was rather lucky, but I'd say it's still not the best time to sell a car. I haven't read your ad properly but you need to advertise it on pistonheads and as many other sites. If you want me to write you a really extensive advert, I could do so if you pay me after the successful sale í ½í¸€. But I haven't read your ad and it might be very good anyway. I actually sold a supercharger for a guy I don't even know. I wrote a very comprehensive advert because I was one of the few people with knowledge of the charger, it sold for £2300 with a queue of other buyers and it was agreed I would get £50 for the sale, so I was pleased with that and I think I'm pretty good at writing persuasive ads, even manipulative. I should be a car salesman í ½í¸Ší ½í± I took the deposit from the buyer and transferred it to the owner (minus £50) and neither of them had I ever met before í ½í¸€ Just had a quick look and your ad looks good enough to me. I could link you to my huge ad but you can't view it unless you sign up to the forums. If you want to read mine for inspiration then let me know and I can show you the link. You might end up wanting to buy it yourself í ½í¸€. Plus my FN2 was a very specialised car and warranted such a huge ad. If you have not already then definitely put the ad on pistonheads. I think it's definitely worth writing as much as possible to make your ad stand out, it also gives potential buyers more confidence when you've really made an effort with your ad. People told me it was too long, but I got full asking price within a few weeks so I'm laughing í ½í¸€ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yea sounds like you did well in both the sale of yours and the purchase haha. I managed to sell my 350z in about 5 days on the forum but this has already passed that mark. Its currently listed on eBay alone as I wasn't sure it was worth going for Autotrader and Pistonheads with such a specialist car...when I was looking for one I looked on all the sites constantly so my line of thinking was as long as it is on one of them it should be all good. Saying that though if i've not had any offers come the end of the month i'll be taking your advice and listing her on at least Pistonheads and possibly Autotrader if I can stomach the £55 listing charge I think this time of year is definitiely not ideal to be selling but then again i'm not in a rush soooo.....
  6. I'll sort that too mate...providing Doris doesn't throw her in the Mersey 😬😬😬 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. I'm thinking maybe a little vid of the Cobra sound is needed. Will try and get one sorted this weekend ....
  9. Yea I checked yours out actually mate as part of my research due to it being closely matched in mileage etc. Thanks for the referral I'll give him a shout Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks fellas good to get a bit of feedback ðŸ‘! Appreciate the kind words I've spent some time researching and feel given the recent work to get it in a1 condition plus the zorst it's a fair price Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Seems quiet on here...😔 is it just the market at the moment..any feedback on the ad? I know I only listed a few days ago but my 350z had sold within 4 days so maybe my expectations are skewed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The bodywork is in mint condition other than the standard bumper chips /marks you would expect from a car this age. The only real issue I had with this zed was in December 2016 where the common steering lock issue occurred. For me this was an expensive fix (£1,050) however it's now been fixed as the locks been replac ed so any new owner need not worry about this. I'm based in Chester however work in Liverpool so can meet anyone interested in either of these locations. Anyone that has owned a standard 370z knows that the exhaust note just doesn't cut it and so an upgrade to the system is the first purchase someone would make (As I did). As a result I have raised the price slightly to account for this - the exhaust cost me £900 new. Price - £14,500 Walkaround Exterior Vid Cobra Exhaust Demo Vid (MORE VIDS IN COMMENTS)
  13. Happy for you mate...bit annoying for me as I was in the same boat and had to fork out £1,050 to get it fixed don't really understand how they've come to a different conclusion
  14. i think my issues with nissan are that others seem to have had help from nissan on this issue, on cars after the effected date, also that it has taken 4 weeks to be told that the case is not closed as they are waiting on more info from the nissan dealer who has my car, when all info was already passed to nissan, and then be told there'll be no help. Car was purchased on 14/02/2015, i'm also a bit pi**ed that now i don't know what other make of other car to go for, i really liked both the 350Zs ive owned and this 370Z. but this whole ordeal has left me really bothered. I feel your pain mate I had exactly the same response as you. I took it to CEO and got the same response. I even questioned why if they don't think it's an issue did they remove the lock completely from the 2013+ models...their response "We cannot answer that question"...shambles
  15. So I got the old part and the code is 48700 JF00C-B1-01 guess that is the one that's supposed to work lol
  16. Yes mate, I will be ringing them tomorrow to let them know I want them to keep the lock back. Not going down without a fight
  17. They called me back and basically said as I bought mine privately and it is not within the manufacturing date etc they will not be able to contribute to the repair. Im taking it to the motor ombudsman as I'm well aware from this forum and others that this is an issue that is common place on a lot of the 370z models not just those prior to March 2010. Really negative experience so far Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Thanks mate I rang them yesterday so I'll have to front the £1050 and hope they refund it 👠Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I've contacted them..my VIN is after the one stated so I'm a bit wound up by this. I've put a complaint in as if it's a known issue it should be fixed regardless of the manufacture date. Was planning on a gtr purchase next year but might swerve that now if I don't get refunded for this. £1,051 is extortionate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I thought the fuse thing was to prevent it? My cars dead so think it's too late for me. Nissan just called and confirmed it is the steering lock they want £1,051!!! Seems ridiculous
  21. Nightmare..just checked and my manufacture date is September 2010 guess it's going to be a big hole in my pocket just because of the manufacture date Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Yea that's what I thought mate so as mine was manufactured in 2009 surely it's under the recall? Do I need to check the VIN too? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Alright fellas, So my car had to be flat bedded off on Tuesday for what sounds like the steering lock issue. It's been with Nissan since and they called this morning saying the diagnostic looks like it will be the steering lock although it hadn't completed at that point. I raised the recall issue at this point and they agreed if this was the issue then it would be fixed for free. They then called me back a few hours later and said it is coming up that the wires need to be checked and that it will be 3 hours labour...again I asked about the recall and the woman told me that my vehicle isn't listed as covered by the recall. It is a 2010 plate but was made late 2009. Does anyone know if it's worth me calling the HQ as people have mentioned here to see if it should in fact be covered by the recall or am I literally out of options? I'm fuming to be honest as the fact the guy said on the first call it's showing as a steering lock issue to then be told they need to keep the car over the weekend to "check wires" at a cost of £200 labour has infuriated me. Any advice guys?
  24. I'm heading down in my 370z! Looking forward to it...proper petrol head weekend. Going Stafford on the Saturday to drive a Lambourghini, GTR and Aston Martin...hopefully I make it out alive
  25. I'm also in Liverpool don't see many around..saw a grey one on old hall street the other day was that you? I'm in a white 370z keep an eye out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
