  1. Looking good so far then, will ping them an email. They also do a three hose silicone breather kit for the crankcase system at 25quid! Could be something to do when changing the rocker covers
  2. Z1 motorsports it is, seems to be a big website with a lot of good gear on it. Might email them to ask about the rear seal and whether its balanced like stock
  3. Afternoon all Looking at Z1s website they seem to list lots of parts we cant get over here without importing etc. One of the things I have seen that I like the idea of is their lightweight crank pulley. Since I decided against the AMS pulley kit for its questionable quality. Works out at 71 quid which is not bad and wont have any tax as its to small Does anyone have an experience with Z1 own brand stuff? Cheers Arran
  4. Looks lovely that! Must resist....
  5. Il have an xyz pipe with resonator please Chris
  6. Injen for me fella, just based on more findings of positive results/reviews than any other
  7. The Injens will make you a couple bhp without a map from previous data sheets but a map will make the best of if. Popchargers are good for noise but they get alot of heat soak so not ideal for power gains. Go with the Injen imo
  8. Running with decats isn't illegal its if it fails the emissions test, my old e36 passed emissions with decats albiet only just
  9. The only ones that seem to make a small amount of top end power whilst sounding great and looking/fitting spot on is the Injen long tube. Im looking at one for mine at the moment However to make the most out of them and to ensure your air/fuel ratio is safe you'll need a remap. From memory the dual Injens are around £500, other options are Stillen but ive read they dont fit as nicely. Have a look on a few of the traders websites that will help you decide. Also look around for reviews and tests, always research a product before buying Hope that helps fella
  10. Chris at Tarmac deals direct with motordyne, if your quick you'll get in the next order
  11. Best y pipe - Motordyne xyz, hands down Best intake - Injen long tube from actual dyno and tuning shops graphs/reviews or 06 airbox with panel filter (ive got HKS) Best exhaust - negligible but most likely something along the lines of Motordyne TDX or Amuse R1 titanium Best plenum spacer - Motordyne 5/16 Best decats - Motordyne ART pipes, again hands down. Best cams - most likely Tomei drop in ones for n/a dont require timing adjustment. Best remap for n/a - Uprev, pretty much all you can do albeit to great effect. Best exhaust manifolds - DC Sports from dyno sheets/tuning shop experience, or Tomei and Crawford they are stainless not ceramic coated like the DC option.
  12. If you have a revup you'll need the mrev2 and 5 16th motordyne spacer that should get you around 20bhp and 25lb ft. Quite a proven good mod for the revup The mrev2 gives gains on a DE aswell just not much, the motordyne spacer netted me 13bhp, Id like an mrev2 for mine but for another 5ish bhp its alot of money to spend
  13. Not normally a old school civic fan but that looks like some serious work and effort gone into that which I can appreciate. Looks great! Now onto the Z which is another ball game best colour for sure and the plans sound good just to improve it a bit more but I warn you it wont stop there haha. If you want to some inspiration of what to do on an azure z take a lool at my journal fella theres quite alot done Looking forward to keeping track of this

    Which pads??

I wouldn't say ebc yellows are budget they are just cheaper than other competition brands I found them better then black diamond by a considerable margin
  20. Excellent cheers mate although I can see me end up with the depo crystal ones
  21. Thanks Zeus, yeah its nearly done now thank god Matt, yeah it's his new style looks great in person has a nice depth to it and the three z dots on it to. Will get a close up of it
  22. Check your rocker covers and spark plug holes for oil, 2 litres is rather alot to top up
  23. 5w30 is whats meant to be in the car. You can use 5w or 10w40 though
  24. Il have a look into the rear indicators, see whats about and how it can be done. Buster, it looks alot better in person pictures dont do it justice. Alot more colour and depth in reality camera cant really get hold off. Its different to the norm
