Hi guys This sunday we will be installing my oil cooler onto the Z, ive got aeroquip socketless hose and fittings and I just wanted to ask if anyone has done this before? Im sure ive heard/read somewhere not to use hose clips on the fittings but not quite sure why as surely it wouldn't hurt for extra peace of mind? The hose is rated to 220psi iirc might be 250psi. Just wouldn't want it to randomly pop off although it shouldn't at all Anyone have any previous on this? Cheers Arran

Don't underdrive anything, not worth the potential agro. Also take note that aftermarket pulleys dont have a damped crank pulley like oem. Imo not worth the risk for such a small gain

The 2JZ sounds miles better in my eyes, much more muscular sounding. If you want a glorious engine sound then an NSX with titanium exhaust and carbon airbox fits the bill nicely

Theres a company that bores out the oil ways I believe as that is the problem with them. I like the RB but if your going to do a straight 6 tt conversion then look no further than a 2JZ, a miles better engine out the box and tuned. Much more reliable and better sounding.
