    door locks

My doors seem to be a bit iffy lately when locking. Might try the fuse to see if it makes and difference. Nico
  3. Excellent photos, I was lucky enough to be invited to stay at my friends in Singapore whilst the race was on. We watched from the apartment, but would of happily swapped for a seat in the stands Nico

  5. Hi all, I'm looking to wrap my door sills with DiNoc carbon fibre vinyl and had some questions with regards to wrapping. I currently have the following: DiNoc vinyl wrap heat gun Hard plastic squeegee card Craft Knife (for cutting the "Z" logo out) I just wanted to ask how I should prepare the surface of the sills for wrapping? Should I sand them a bit first to get rid of the gritty texture? should I get some surface primer as well help with the adhesive vinyl? Or is it simply a case of just giving the surface a good clean and then wrap away? I'm looking to get the same look as the 4th post down in this thread http://www.350z-uk.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=63990 Many thanks! Nico
  6. no cold feed (since I have no idea what you meant by that ) Next (minor) change would be to wrap some stuff, looking to do the door sills in carbon fibre vinyl and the odd interior bit here and there. other things planned include new rotors and pads then top it off with new alloys when I gets da moolah Nico

  8. I bounce between Bracknell and Windsor in Berkshire depending on work. mainly Bracknell though.
  9. Hi all, Can anyone recommend someone who can detail my car that operates in (or is willing to travel to) Berkshire? Looking for a wash, clay, polish, wax and also an engine bay clean/detail. I would do it myself, but would rather see it done first before splashing out on the gear and making a fool of myself Any details on pricing would also be greatly appreciated! Cheers Nico
  10. PM sent regarding the aerial
  11. Hi all, Looking at cleaning up the calipers on my zed and have browsed the forums for some pointers on where to start. I'm not looking to do a full blown repaint yet, just a clean up with a brush drill attachment and a small amount of paint. My main concern is the paint. The sticky in the FAQ forum mentions Humbrol Paints #54 as a solid match, however I wanted to know if this will keep in our glorious british weather Just a temp fix up before I strip em out and have them done good and proper Cheers Nico
  12. Different strokes for different folks!
  13. Hi all, Looking to fit some reverse parking sensors and was looking at some from http://www.parkingdynamics.co.uk/ as they offer solutions which don't require any drilling through the bumper. I've seen a decent fitting guide for one of their solutions here: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=45649 However, I'm not confident enough (yet) to go about removing by bumper and fiddling with the lights/wiring to setup something like this myself and was wondering if anyone could recommend a 350z friendly garage that will install some sensors (either these, or other highly recommended brands) I've fired some emails to Horsham developments and a few general local garages, I just thought it couldn't hurt to ask on the forum Nico
  14. Picked up my Zed and as promised here is a piccy for show and tell. First mod on order is to install the JWT pop charger (thanks Tarmac!) Nico
  15. Not surprised you didn't see a Zed Wasso...as I was mincing along in my manly citroen C3
  16. Another thing to note down is that on most occasions your insurance company will offer you a renewal quote that is higher than a quote from you as a new customer but with the same details and NCB. My friend was sent a renewal quote on his Type R for £560 by Admiral. He went to their site and gave the same details along with his NCB and he got a quote for £420! He then called up and asked why the large difference and they just said they would do it for the online quote price.
  17. Hi all, need some recommendations/insight on brake discs for my zed. for now, I'm looking at a simple replacement of the stock ones that have been on for 46k miles. I googled around for some replacements and found these (pretty cheap ones ) front: http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Nissa ... 483&000027 Rear: http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Nissa ... e86&000027 Just wanted to know if Pagid are reliable for a simple stock replacement. I am willing to spend more on a decent set so I welcome recommendations. Nothing to fancy, just reliable Thanks in advance Nico
  18. Yes! That's was the one! vaaaaary nice zed
  19. Hi, I'm looking to purchase a JWT pop charger kit for my 2004 350z. seen a few about for £145 on ebay (incl. delivery) and was wondering if any traders here had any new ones going? Kit should include all parts required for the install (obviously not the tools ). Nico
  20. Was on the way to work on the M3 and this beauty cruised by me. No pics unfortunately as I was driving but it looked the nuts with a custom body kit and diffuser. Can't remember the plate except that it started with ML and ended in Z Bravo to the owner (if he did the mods)

    Quotey quotes

Wow didn't realise I had it so good so until I saw a bunch of other peoples quotes. No idea why it came so low, but I'm thinking it's to do with location and job more than anything.
