cheers. I was thinking of replica because getting original would be tricky. I thought there would need to be some modification on the fit plus painting.

Evening all had a look around and got some prices for parts but could someone tell me roughly how much it cost them to get a nismo v1 kit bought and fitted to their 350z. still looking for a car and most don't have the kit ie front bumper, side skirts and rear wing. so I thought I'd get an idea of the costs to get and have a kit fitted so I can factor that into my car buying price. cheers Dan

Thanks for the good info guys. I knew I'd get some sensible answers, glad i asked :-) that swirl mark actually is cracks in the paint didn't know if cleaning it would cause that. Def not right that it's a carbon fibre look on the rear wing then. Cheers all probably gonna be avoiding then unless he wants to go sub 6k lol

cool never knew that. Good to know though. That would mean it would be a fiver glass bumper then not plastic and that would explain the wierd cracking I'm seeing in the bumper in some of the corners and near the one headlight washer?

Thanks for the replies so far as well. I did wonder about ebc stuff lol. Also yer I did think that by now it would have had two p3 services. I am still considering it thinking if i can get it cheap enough I can get paint sorted and servicing etc so that I know it's up to scratch but not sure yet if he will reduce the price enough. It's advertised as a nismo factory fitted kit and that's what he was told but is that even possible? did they fit these kits from new?

some pics. The front bumper. nothing wrong from this shot but then the second shot shows the cracking on the front bumper. looks like circle scratches but it's actually like the paint is cracking. final shot is of the rear bumper part I was on about that's not flush

Evening all. Been to view a car today and just wondered what more experienced people on here would think of it. It's a 2004 54 gt spec with nismo body kit and 80k on the clock in black. The guy has only had it 7 months since he's got to get a more practical car for work. He's recently fitted new brake discs and pads all round ebc brand I believe. recently serviced within the last 7 months (a p2). last p3 I can see was I think at 40k and in 2008 or 2009. issues I see with it are that on the front bumper there are areas where the paint appears to be cracking sometimes in corners and sometimes in a circular pattern. there's a slight 2cm diameter chunk taken out of the drivers side side skirt near the front. also there's a small bit of body work on the rear bumper corner that isn't flush with the bumper unlike on the other side. I can get pics up of all this if it helps. tyres are good and interior as well. The rear nismo wing appears to look like carbon fibre or effect but the middle section is all black on top but carbon looking underneath? Basically he is asking for 6999. I'd need to get the body work done so would want to knock money of for this but is that cheeky plus I think it's missing a p3 service but is that right if it's only had one? sorry for the essay. Plus he said when funds have been tight he has used normal unleaded a little. anyway any advice on price and what else to check would be welcomed. cheers.

The seller was under the impression is wasn't a big delay to do but looking at your replies it might not be that quick. cheers for the suggestions on where to send the docs as well. He did agree that I could keep the private plate until the paperwork was sorted then swap it over assuming I bought the car. gotta post up about the car next and get some advice.

cheers Leeroy. Once i've seen the car i'll have to ask the seller about what he wants to do with the car. If its good then i'll need him to confirm what hes gonna do with the plate. Dont really want to buy a car i can't drive for a couple of weeks.

So the seller can send off all the docs and sort all that then :-) I suppose if the cars all ok and the guy don't mind then i could drive on his plates until he gets all the paperwork back then i can swap the plates and give him his personal ones back hum. will see how the viewing goes first. First 350 ive seen so got to try to keep a level head.

just saw this now - so does that mean if i buy it i cant just have him put the old plates on and drive off? gotta wait for confirmation from the dvla first?

guy in work has these tyre socks. He swares by then in bad snow. I only have my fiesta at the mo and I've been through really bad snow with the car without any major issues. think the skinny tyres and lack of power help somehow lol

agree In the sense I've not taken the law into my own hands before because I do worry I'd go to far. But then people snap because they're only human. anyway I just hope the cars ok :-) when I eventually get around to getting a 350 it'll kill me if someone scratches it

the problem is the law won't punish people like this kid who think it's ok to damage other people's property so it's no wonder people take the law into their own hands. ive had my car broken into twice by my works. All times I've involved the police and nothing comes of it. not blaming them but it's frustrating so can understand why the OP would have given the culprit a slap. dont see the point feeling sorry for someone like the kid that did the damage getting hurt, it's what they deserve because usually they won't take the law seriously. only my views and yes I appreciate everyone is allowed alternative ones :-) hope the cars alright in the end.

I love the nismo spoiler and the rest of the kit. personally I think it's a kit that fits really well without looking too over the top. gotta get a 350 with that already on.
