agree that I'd be worried about changing rural 60s down to slower speeds just for the sake of it. Most 30s I can think of I wouldn't mind being 20 however there are some that shouldn't even be 30 at the mo and would be more suited to 40 so a blanket 20 I don't think is right. better to assess roads individually. its the only way to do it properly but guess that means spending money and the government (local authorities) can't normally be bothered to do things right.

hugely lucky like you said. wierd what you said about them being on your bumper as well because I had a police car follow me last week. from a roundabout onto a dual carriage way up to 70 mph and at 70 they were no more than 2 car lengths behind me for about a mile. way to close in my opinion and if I'd had to slam the brakes on they would have been straight into the back of me. stupid really. But back to the point I can imagine how relieved you must have felt! The officer must have been feeling generous to say the least.

also just wondering worth doing the other pedal tricks to reset the accelerator, throttle position settings? bit confused on the one reset I think for the throttle position since it says about making sure the throttle position changes during the one 10 second gap but does that mean pushing the accelerator pedal?

ok done the pedal dance. good fun lol. I get two slow flashes - gap - one flash - gap - three fast flashes - gap - five fast flashes then repeats. according to codes I've seen that's a throttle position sensor. just wanted to check if people agree. cleared the code and so far it's not come back seems ok. but I reckon I'll need to check prices for one of these. They hard to replace?

not had chance yet. It's wierd seen two other posts now for emls must be something in the air! lol. I'll do the pedal dance in the morning before work and post up the code. fingers crossed once I've got it then reset it it'll be nothing major.

well got the car home. eml on all the way but no limp mode. Didn't go above 2k revs in any gear though. Will try the pedal dance and get the code.

my first thought. I checked the tyres visually and they look fine. only checked the pressures two days ago and they were spot on. plus once I turned the ignition off and back on its just the eml light that's on. still need to drive her to see if the other lights come on though and if the power is still down. O and she's running 19s and has been for a while so it's not the wheel and tyres sizes.

Hi, Just had this happen to me when accelarating along the dual carriage way near my works. Accelerated probably medium effort in second then car judders and engine cuts to much lower revs. Can't get her to accelerate much in any gear plus on the dashboard the EML is one plus the ESP Light and then also a light that looks like a car with skid marks underneath it. Managed to nurse her back to work. Engine off - back on and now just the EML is on. Haven't driven her again yet though. Got a 12 mile journey to get home so don't know whether to try it or not. She sounds fine when i restarted her and rev'd her up a bit, there was no extra rattles that i could hear when getting her back to work plus clutch and gearbox felt fine. I'm going to find the pedal dance thing on here so i can get the code for the error but just wondered what people thought it might be initially? I'd not run her for about a week and a half but have been using her for 3 days now without issue. Cheers Dan

flash will be De supported entirely soon enough. companies are supposed to be moving away from it so it's not just turned on even on Android tablets these days. Sorted a kindle fire hd and a galaxy tab 2 since Xmas for flash. you can still get it on them just not as straight forward as it uses to be. gotta be said impressed with the fire hd and the tab 2 7inch model is also good.

Afternoon, Probably going to regret asking this but wondered if anyone had any experience with an induction kit that japspeed do for the 350z? http://www.japspeed.co.uk/Nissan-350Z/Nissan-350Z/Nissan-350Z-Cold-Air-Induction-Kit/p-19-1-697/ Thats the one, not sure if it's going to be flimsy or look pants, also i don't know if japspeed are any good. I don't believe the performance gains but i'm just looking to change the note of the engine really. Any advice/opinions welcomed. Cheers

as far as I'm aware it's the same with mine. 55 plate with 50k odd on the clock. If i dip the clutch then release it I can here a kind of a rattling noise when it's engaged. think its normal for the car.

xbox and a speccy emulator on the laptop. used to have a gaming pc but like most gf's get in the way. anyway back onto consoles and the Xbox now but cannot stand joystick controllers hence I'm running a xim edge so can still feel like I'm pc gaming with cod and other fps.

I can't imagine how it would feel on some of those bikes doing 150 odd mph. Bloody brilliant. when's the next episode though?

just wondered how do you clean the maf? my zed doesn't need it doing but think my fiesta will and im guessing what ever substance you use on one maf would be the same for most.
