love the look of these. sorry to butt in but while I can figure out that they catch oil hence the name. exactly why do you need them? what over flow of oil is it? excuse my ignorance.

by all accounts its handling is excellent. ive not driven one though so I can't say personally that it is. But performance is a let down and I don't really like the styling of it.

that looks stunning! love that red colour. out of interest is it a hard job to spray the engine cover and the strut brace yourself?

Fitted today - in the crappy rain - easy to do although gonna have to get those screws done properly that attach the heat shield to the air intake funnel when its not raining so heavy. Taking her for a run in a bit - just reving the engine i can hear a change in the note which sounds excellent :-) bring on a nice drive to test it out properly. Cheers Tarmac

paranoia for me means always torquing rather than hand tightening. used to hand tighten the sump nut on my bike and very nearly stripped the thread the one day when I felt it wasn't right enough. cant get it wrong with a torque wrench now. Well hopefully not lol

I've not used kwik fit in a long long time because the one around here tried to rip me off. Not surprised to hear you had a similar experience. They do seem to like creating more work than actually needs doing. agree it's a fairly easy job but depends on your confidence to do it and having some tools.

sounds good. Been looking around at some drifting info. I wouldn't have a clue myself since this is my first rwd car. It does look seriously good fun though. like the video as well. You've got some good skills as far as I'm concerned! so coilovers are a definite requirement you'd say? I'd guess that really just practicing with the standard car is sufficient to start. I'm guessing there's track days for this?

hi decided to take the jump and get one of these. might be a daft question but do you have a choice over the colour of the filter cone. just wondered if there was a blue one.

personal experience have found motorcycle cops to be much more reasonable as opposed to the car based ones. depends on the copper though I guess.

stupid question possibly but they test the handbrake efficiency on the road for the mot test do they? Because I know I've read that they can't test the rear braking on the rollers due to the diff?

true its up to both sides government and individual drivers. something like 2000 deaths last year on the roads in the UK which ain't bad though when you consider the number of drivers on the road and also the number that speed.

had to surrender my photo license when I renewed it all at the post office. to be honest works out the same cost plus it's all done there and then including new photos. had the new one back and the new paper part (which I'd lost) after about 7 days.

it should be a common sense thing but unfortunately like the previous example some local authorities have none.
