Evening everyone. Haven't been on for a while but just been wondering are there any taxi drivers on here and if so is it a job they would recommend. Just thinking about either extra earner or job move. Probably a pipe dream but would welcome any informed advice. Probably would be using own car (not the zed of course ) but for a local company. Yer mate. I've tried testing the clutch with 5th and 6th gear foot to the floor tests and it'd not slipping as such literally just a split second blip of the Rev needle and then she's off. I'm thinking it's just something I'd never noticed before. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

Thanks for all the replies. So far no worse. Not slipping anymore so don't know if it's def a clutch issue that's coming on or just something I'd never noticed before. drive in the middle lane if you want just make sure u move over for traffic that's coming up behind. simple surely.

lol. two ways to test a clutch then. sixth and uphill or supercharger nice. I did wonder if I was being over cautious. will test it more and see. cheers mate. just sure I never noticed it before.

interesting idea of having to connect to the Internet once every 24hrs In order to be able to play games as well. if they stick with that for launch they will loose a few sales. I bet they're testing the water. might well all change by launch.

my reason for diying it was because I don't know a garage I'd trust to do the work around here at the mo. heard about one in Usk that maybe I could use. always fairly untrusting when it comes to garages. but good point that isn't much labour.

evening all maybe just being paranoid but think the clutch might be starting to go on my 350. when in sixth if i floor the accelerator the Rev needle blips up and down say a few mm's in half a second rather than just going upwards. might well be I'm being extra picky lol but just incase how hard a job is it to replace a clutch. what special tools would I need. I've got axle stands trolley jack sockets and the usual tools. have done stuff before but not dropping clutches. so any tips or advice welcomed. thanks

well I've got a 350 55 plate and tax is then 270. however goes up to the same price as the 370z if you get one 06 onwards I believe. tyres wise it's cost me just under 1k to fit all round however that's for a top notch brand of tyres plus I'm running on 19s so the usual 18 inch rays (correct me if I'm wrong) would be less for tyres.

know I missed second a couple of times that weekend. cant remember if I did that coming out of country cooks. lol
