Well got the day off. Came shopping with the gf. Managed about 10 mins of shopping. Ended up in Pica Pica in Cardiff having tapas and slowly working our way through their cocktail menu. Two for one so why not. So far I think, mimosa, hazelnut Alexander, long Island ice tea, classic martini (gin, shaken, dry and dirty) and I think now a pink lemonade or something. God help me when I try to stand up lol. Best way to spend an impromptu day off.

Very good! I had rang around other insurers that offered multicar and if I'd moved both to them I'd have kept the 9 years ncd. Like others have said though splitting the ncd if I'd insured the two cars with different insurers I think would have been a different story even though Admiral told me it would be ok.

Well just a quick update. All my worrying about having to move insurers and what would happen with the ncd came to nothing in the end. Admiral sent me a renewal for 670 quid. Previous year was about 550 I think. Rang them up to complain that I could do a quote with them now and it was coming in at 510 and they matched it . Spent last two weeks or so then going through what would happen when I change my little run around car out for something else. They gave me details on costs etc. Renewal day was Monday and in the end haven't swapped my fiesta for anything so called back up to pay for the year. They recalculated the premium and it's down to 485 for the year now lol. Very happy indeed. When I do swap the fiesta for another cheap car it'll cost 17.50 administration plus whatever the new car costs assuming it's extra to insure. If it's cheaper then I get a rebate. Thank god that's done for another year.

Taken some days off from work for my bday. Cleaned the zed properly for the first time in two weeks. Really needed it since she's my daily runner now until I find a cheap car for the work trips. Then stuffed my face down harvester plus some corona. Lush. O and making a list of bits for the zed and actually getting around to buying some of them for a change

Actually not sure what the exact name is for what I did. Basically logged into Internet banking account and paid it into the other account. Just happened to look up the meaning of bacs and by all accounts that takes days to clear and apparently doing what I did above would be "faster payment". Useless bit of knowledge there sorry lol

Had to do the same for my zed. Travelled about 130 miles to see it. Paid with bacs transfer. Tad bit embarrassing sat there waiting for it to go through but went through in an hour I think. Leonk on here was extra patient waiting for it to clear

Yer they've apparently taken feedback from the previous game and put in the option to choose your difficulty. I might well give this a go since it'll also have more songs to download down the line. Not sure how large the catalog will be but will do so more hunting on that. Really it should be a perfect match since I enjoy playing around on the acoustic and the xbox. Just combining the two May well set my audio up differently though. Good excuse to get a sound system for the tv/blueray

Cheers for the review I've done some reading and that was one of the complaints with the first version as I see it. Apparently you can now choose your own difficulty in this new version. My other concern was with the audio delay. By all accounts you need to have the audio running into an audio system rather than the TV. I don't do that at the mo. Yer I can strum chords and that but never really practiced with scales etc. Just playing around and learning what I want to song wise. I'll wait I think till its out (end of month) then see how the reviews go. Would also mean needing to get an electric guitar. Got an accostic already but that's no good for this game. Was hoping that it'll be a good way to improve my skills (or lack of them lol) but if it's too basic then no good.

Just wondered if anyone on here had played the original or was looking to get this new version when it's out. Sounds like a great idea and by all accounts they've cleared up some of the issues from the first release but I do wonder if it'll really help to teach you how to play guitar. Seriously tempted though since need something to help improve my lack of playing skill.

Dare say ya will see my zed. Only standard. Azure 55 plate with lmgt4 wheels. With the fuel, just in case I'm getting confused, I always run super unleaded. Never just normal unleaded. So that's always above 95 octane. Just not always the 99 octane. Think super unleaded is 97 as standard.

I sometimes get a bit of that on the rear window. Air con on and sorts it easy enough.

No time for kwik fit from past personal experience. At least they're sorting it. Fingers crossed.
