Thanks mate. Maybe. I'll have a look. At the mo having looked at numerous cars and people dreaming about their values I'm running my old fiesta again since the mot ain't up till Dec. Will put her in for the mot and see what the damage is. Even 400 quid of welding will be cheaper than the cars I've seen so far. Asking 1k for fiestas that are around year 2000 with 80k on the clock. People are mad.

I've got the same wheels with the same polished and diamond cutting effects. All I ever use is normal shampoo and a wash mitt then seal then to help shift the dirt next time.

Just out of interest why is plasma bad? They don't need topping up, that's an urban myth, they do better blacks on average compared to lcds, cheaper. Do use more power and don't cope with direct sun light as much. But for me and gaming my 42 Panasonic hd 1080p is excellent and was considerably cheaper than a comparably specd Lcd. One disclaimer this was about two years ago so maybe lcds have improved.

Was hoping that. It doesn't look much on the rim. Thought best to check though. Tyre took most of it. Got my old fiesta back up and running with 4 new tyres so an drive her around and let the zed have a rest for a bit.

Cheers for the replies. Cheers as well Alex. I've got home ok on the spare now. Saw what I hit on the way back home. Basically looks like a metal wheel chock! Hit that around 30 to 35 mph. Damage wise there's an inch long slice on the side of the tyre and a small 1 cm cut out of the inside rim of the wheel. Will put up a pic see what you think. Personally I think the wheel is fine no other dents or flat spots. Obviously tyre is gone so can get a new one of them. But welcome other people's advice once I've got the pic up. With the tyre they've covered about 1k miles I think. I'll have to measure the depth but I am wondering if I can get away with one new mpss on the front left. If that's gonna be dangerous then ill just get two new fronts instead. Again advice welcomed. Will post the pic up now. And yes I did s hit a brick when I heard the bang. Lucky I guess it didn't hit anything else under the car or the rear as that might have span me out.

One other thing as well. The spate wheel. I was under the impression that even though I'm running 19 inch wheels the difference in tyre size should mean I'll be ok to use the standard spare wheel front or back. I gotta say it looks slightly larger in total size compared to the fronts???

Morning. Won't say a good one since on the way to work I've managed to hit a brick which in turn has knackered my front left tyre. Waiting on rac since I've got cover and I'm not sure if there's any other damage. Basically i was thinking I'll need a new front left tyre but also need to get the wheel looked at. Doesn't look like the wheel is out of shape or anything but I guess I won't know till I get the tyre off the rim. Worst case if the wheels done for I'll need to find 1 lmgt4. What do you think the chances of that are? Secondly if it's just the tyre I'm assuming I'll need to change both fronts otherwise I'll have different levels of ware on the front. Cars not making any other noises or bangs and I got off the road as quick as I could so hoping no other damage. Any other suggestions welcomed.

Managed to get up at 6 am. Left at half 7 and got to truro about 1015. Currently enjoying the Falmouth ale festival. Some very nice beers and ciders here. Quite possibly best bday weekend ever

By all accounts they are non aggressive. So fair enough leave them alone. I bloody hate spiders but if they kill more of em I'm happy.
