  1. I wasn't sure they were needed. There was a pic on the forum earlier of this lowered white zed. It's got the mines type lip then just the Nissan mud flap things. Quite liked the uncomplicated look. Having side skirts fitted makes it harder to jack up on the sills as well is that true? Would it look wrong with the front lip and no skirts you reckon?
  2. Evening. I have searched and searched about all of this believe it or not before anyone says anything lol I'm trying to decide what would work on a my 55 plate azure zed. Currently no external mods body wise. I was thinking a Mines front lip or the aerokit version (if thats the same?) however will this look unbalanced if i didn't fit a side skirt to match? As for the back end i do really like the nismo v1 wings, but again would this look odd without the usual rear spats? Been going through pictures and pictures of zeds but would welcome first hand advice from the forum. I'm thinking of doing the bumper tuck mod as well so not sure how that would look with the v1 wing but no spats. Lastly can anyone (users or traders) recommend where i can get these bits from. So the complete list if i went for it would be: Mines or Mines type front lip (don't want Carbon, want the more flexible polyurethane i think it is) Rear Spats Rear nismo v1 wing. I've read that some of the rear wings have better fitments that others. Again not sure how true that all is. Pictures and advice welcomed. Ultimately i don't want anything seriously out there just a little bit less rounded than the standard body work is. Cheers all
  3. would that have been because there was still some dirty particles left on the car when you went to clay? I know i've been told to make sure to fold the clay plenty to make sure you're not putting the dirty clay across clean panels.
  4. with a good set of air suspension would be doable in this country
  5. i was only just saying to 3SJR on here on Friday that even with a standard setup i've ground my zed before now over some speed bumps so i pretty much couldn't drive the car anywhere if she was setup like the one in this thread. Do like the look though. Cannot afford air suspension though.
  6. that's mentally low. does look nice even with just standard mud flaps. I'm fairly sure thats a mines lip - been looking for one of those
  7. considering your drive thread nope i don't think it would lol
  8. Ok can you add me to the list for the following: 3 Ton Low Profile Garage Trolley Jack All depends on the time scales really as i'd like to get this order soonish. Cheers for trying to organise this Flex
  9. I was going to go for AquaGraphix and to be fair everything i've heard about them is good. This guys only around the corner from me though so will see how it goes. I'll be posting up pics if its good though. So if you don't see any pics you know the answer lol
  10. Don't worry - on the list lol. Was doing it myself but going to try this place out Caerphilly that was recommended to me by the guy that's dipping some of my car parts at the mo. So going to take the plenum and the strut brace over there. Soooo hopefully can have the plenum, brace and throttle body nice and shiny, some new engine silicone hoses, new battery and brake fluid covers plus something different on the engine cover. All depends on how the dipping goes so fingers crossed :-)
  11. Forgot to put this up since i've got a pic of it. Fitted a bit of shinyness to the engine bay. Fingers crossed if all works out there should be a lot more shiny bits and colour in the coming weeks.
  12. Sorry mate forgot to ask as well. I've got a plenum spacer fitted so how does that effect the plenum bolts?
  13. It's good stuff. Went to see a guy that does it yesterday. Has some nice looking wheels done with hydro dipping. I asked about the longevity on wheels. He powder coats the wheels. Dips them and then powder coats again. I don't claim to fully understand it all but seems pretty hard wearing to me.
  14. Something for me to try out soon then. Found the how to's Cheers for the info cable ties it is.
  15. Cool. I'll have a search around. I'm assuming once done the bumper can't go back in place?
  16. Sounds good. Plenty of pics required. Welcome aboard.
  17. Those bumper tucks are perfect for the ark exhaust to show it off. I've read it's just a matter of bending the bumper up and screwing it into place with some washers to spread the load. Is that about right?
  18. Lol totally missed your description on the sound. Doh. Sounds good then.
  19. Got to say he is very thorough! That is a good build thread as well.
  20. Love that ark exhaust! Soooo need to get one of them. What's the noise level like with them on?
