  1. Liking that! Looks great mate.
  2. I'll let my bank manager know, not the gf though lol. I'm gonna have a hard time explaining the one new thing I've bought when it arrives in a week or so, getting my list of excuses together already lol. So need to add catch can, power steering and coolant overflow tanks to that list lol. O and thanks for the help all, plenum nice and clean now and ready for polishing. Did notice this on the plenum though. Guess it's a manufacturing code
  3. Cheers Wasso. I thought that might be the reason. Hummm tempted to buy more shinyness now lol.
  4. All off you were right no more coolant popped out. Drained the radiator anyway since I'm changing the hoses soon. Surprised how dirty it is in there and the top plenum is black on the intake near to the throttle body.
  5. Cool just surprised thats all. that'll teach me for not reading up before hand. cheers Vlad
  6. lol few drops ? lol got a bit more than that from the one hose that connects near the throttle body underneath. To be fair i probably should of just let it finish though, probably is just a few drops. I'm wondering now, if i do drop the coolant (since im putting samco hoses on anyway) then that'll stop the fluid leaking from the hoses on the plenum as i remove it?
  7. Hi. Sorry for the probably stupid question. I'm taking off the top plenum. There's a few hoses attached. Are any of these coolant hoses and therefore am I going to need to do the coolant as well when I remove the plenum? Cheers
  8. good work! we're getting there lol cannot wait to try out the new 3 tonne jack, should be able to hoist the car up in a flash!

  12. Agree it's nothing major but I'm still saving around 10 quid on the trolley jack and I was going to buy one anyway so every little helps
  13. Anyone know if i do def need the bellow type silicone hose joint for connecting the cone filter? Cannot find them in white anywhere

  17. Hi, I'm going to be getting some silicone hose to help connect my intake tube between the cone filter and throttle body. Currently the silicone hose i've got is a bellow type on the bottom connection between the intake tube and maf sensor housing/cone filter. Does anyone know if it'll cause a problem if i replaced this with a straight silicone hose piece without the bellow/hump type. I'm assuming thats there to add some damping however the cone is held pretty firmly in place with a bracket. Any suggestions?
  18. ok cool, so i can probably do the front lip ok but really to balance the wing i'll need the skirts? It's a nightmare trying to decide, also finding somewhere that does the mines or aerokit jp1 (?) lips is hard work.
