Hey James, I can't be 100% on what the spacer is made of, a type of light metal . It is 5/16ths thick and the person I bought it from on here told me it is a Motordyne spacer. As said I never ended up using it. Hope this helps.

The bottom section of the top plate needs a bit of attention due to it being covered by the engine cover in the engine bay, metal polish and a bit of elbow grease is all that's required.
