  1. Not sure the VDC/ABS will cope and it will look hilarious
  2. 245/40/18 or 255/40/18 front 275/40/18 rear
  3. it will never look like that, but would lose the granny image and think alto of corsa/fiesta buyers would consider it imagine a nismo with a 1.6 turbo Although it does resemble its cousin very well, i wouldn't expect a great deal more than a rebadged clio
  4. also there was another Z there but he did 1-2 practise runs then parked the car all day? anyone know who
  5. If you Didnt see my Report from my First round please look here http://www.350z-uk.c...my-first-round/ Right so my second round (the Championships 4th round) So my second round of the FBS, this time it took place during the Ultimate Street Car show at Santa Pod last weekend i had missed the 2nd and 3rd rounds due to a decision that i would not return untill my Kaaz 2 way had been fitted. So for this round as it was a Ken Block Gymkhana Grid Qualifier a Stop box had been added to the end of the track which you must stop in and not pass out of so another thing to adjust to. The usual 6am start was on order to get the cars packed and ready to roll me and my Friends headed down to santapod not really knowing what to expect for the day, We arrived and started to set up our area and start pumping tyres up after a drift day we take all the air out of the tyres as makes more space and less chance of an explosion as the wheel are carried in the back of a hatchback. And well the Day started out well on a down as we blew the 12v pump up on the first tyre at about 23 Psi, so we jumped in the skoda to go to the local halfords or petrol station to get another and got told If we left the show we would have to pay to get back in so that idea was scrapped but the Guy at the gate said the Pitstop shop on the strip might have them by this time it was around 9:30 and drivers briefing wat at 9:45 so i ran like a mad man to the shop to find they had a couple left on the shelf so i bought them all, and went to the briefing as my friend pumped the tyres up, I was a bit nervous to see how i would get on with the new diff, as i knew it was great for speedy drifts from donington but not tight technical stuff but the difference was day and night compared with round 1 although we had a few spins Although after a few runs in morning practise i had decided the Uniglory tyres just sucked, i had zero idea on what was happening at the back of the car, So after lunch i put on my favourite tyre to date to drift on a Set of Kenda kr20 and jumped in the car to find my Clutch Pedal stuck to the floor, so after a bit of playing with it came back so im guessing either the heat of the gearbox doing runs then not having space to do cool down runs boiled the fluid or the slave was on its way out. Although My friends where timing my runs and i was still way off the mark, after looking at the fast cars and finding out they were all on semi slick r888 or 123s tyres we had a play about with the damping and tyre pressures and as i lined up for another practise got told practise has finished and qualifications runs where about to take place. So i sat and watched as the FWD and AWD drivers had there qualification runs Then My time came my RWD group got called up and i head down to the start line going out on a blind set up, carried out my first two runs and wasn't feeling great as every run i was last to the box. But it got worse as i lined up for my 3/5 run i staged up and the car just died, no power at all. So i jumped out the car and had the joy of pushing it back off the start line to find for some random reason the battery terminal had come off, and as i wasn't allowed to cross the track to the pits i had to find a way of getting a message to my pit crew that i need a 10mm socket so enlisting a stranger to run around the track i eventually got we got started up and lined up, this turned out to be my fast run with a 23.25, i ran round for my last run and cocked it upon the second barrel passing out the course so was a DNF So that was it nothing more i can do was it enough? turns out there was 17 rwd cars and 16 would go through to the knock out rounds. And the Commentator stared listing off name 16 place - 15 place - 14 place - By now i was thinking im clearly number 17 then, But as they got to 12 place qualifier i heard my name and me and my little crew looked at each other in shock So grinning with excitement we went back the pits and well my pit crew went off for some well deserved pancakes, whilst i just sat thinking how the heck did i do that but we had worked out i was up against number 5 qualifier and good friend of Mr Dedman Hadley Fulbrock who i know is on point and very consistent, I was then Called up into place and send down to the Start line with Hadley following i got choice of lane so chose the right hand on the ground i qualified best in it, and well i fluffed it but as expected i lost and Hadley went through to the great 8 i ran a 23,72 and Hadley ran a 20.40 and that was the end of my day. but i was super stoked to qualify let alone not last and then got taken out by the guy who finished 2nd at the round i don't think is to bad. despite the tyre inflater, clutch and battery issue. Few bonus images

  7. who said an android is a copied ios?
  8. in the real world of day to day driving are the goodyears worth more than a set of falkens
  9. drift cars dont stay mint if you dont want marks on your car buy a cheap bmw or similar to learn in because stuff like this happens
  10. DO NOT DRIFT ON THE ROAD its just not worth it. regarding drifting of a Z it depends on your style of drifting, if you love to clutch kick alot you will go through clutches rather fast The only time i have found my self having to clutch kick is doing FBS there is more than enough power in the 350z to drift the likes of norfolk arena and santapod (most beginner tracks) without clutch kicking If you just want to learn how to control your z sideways i dont think you could go to wrong with the Drift days at Olton park i have no done it myself but i know DJtimo done it recently As you wont have to clutch kick and you wont go through tyres as the track is damped the best modification for drifting the Z is a 2way diff or Welder and a good bucket seat and harness IMO, im sure docrwa, aliveboy etc will be able to give you there ideas on whats best. Cost lets talk cost lol i have gone through about £1500 of tyres this year, you can do it cheaper if you have a garage willing to give you part worns and the space to carry them for, i found i was spending money getting tyres changed over at Drift days etc when in the end ended up cost the same as getting a new Budget pair and burning them, although as i have progressed i have been able to tell the different better crap tyres and good tyres, and if you like the speed and smoke like i do i would rather spend the extra £10-20 a tyre on getting a more enjoyable day i haven't had 1 issue drifting my Z other than my last round of FBS i think my clutch slave finally started to give up so that will needed replacing you can drift a Stock Z fine http://vimeo.com/51714471 Or you can go out and start spending silly money on roll cages, steering lock kits fancys diffs etc if your really start to peruse it and end up with what bizz has, a monster of a Z
  11. get your own car down to santa pod or if to far go to teeside bizz is usually about and happy to give advice
  12. tyre leader seem to be very cheap recently Getting some nice 245/40/18 semi slicks with them for around £85 each
