  1. Blimey, I've always wondered how people can afford to buy/insure nice cars at that age! I didn't even have the dosh to buy a car at 17 and at 19 I just had a sh*tbox mk 4 escort that cost me 400 quid! I bought my car when I just turned 21 and it was about 2 years old. In the week before I bought my missus a new suzuki swift sport. Its all about how you spend the money. At that age I worked very hard doing alot of hours and decided rather than drinking my money I was gonna spend it on cars. With out wanting to sound rude, please feel free to tell me to F OFF, But buying a new swift and a 350z in 2 week were they bought outright?? at that age if so what job were you doing then

    Trial fit

Unless you come across a load of spun suspension bushes and corroded in bolts The reason i have owned HSD for 3 months and there still in the box 7 series wheels do looks smart maybe running a less chunky/profile tyre will help it tuck in a bit more.
  7. Is it only me that thinks they look a bit "Pimp my Ride" Personally for the money i think you could get some nicer wheels i no thats personal opinion but im sure people would rather enkei, rays, ssr etc than fox, https://www.facebook.com/JapanesePerformance - These guys have a lot of reasonably price real jap wheels
  8. ive only been once and ive only done 3 laps in rather bog standard s14, If you drive way within your and the cars limits your fine, I think the rumors about thousands of pounds on shut down costs are a bit OTT within my group of friends we've had 2 drivers damage armco and the paid no more than £600 for replacement parts and labour, but then they didnt shut the track they just put like coned everyone into single file for a few hundred yards at them spots, and at the end of the day you can just drive around it at 30mph if you wish.

The place is popping up in a few threads atm so i thought i would post a few video from some of the test days ive found on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpmeAlTAG3U http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=-11BNym-aho

  13. me Dedman (im sure youve got a video just of you but this was a quick find of you and your series) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P52UD0m__Y0
  14. Hi Bizz Indead it is norfolk and yep will be down there Just anything really ive not ever need to have car to a point of an dedicated drift setup so following this will just be nice to get some tips that i can try to apply to my own car, As atm im driving basically a factory spec car, with little e36 leaving me in clouds of smoke, although im sure this is driver issues not the car .
  15. another note is you have to be cautious of you fellow drift vultures trying to buy your cheap wheels you find for drifting before you do as 5x114 18" seem to the most expensive secondhand wheel market atm Aint that right Dedman
  16. if you come up with any brilliant tricks that may help me and my car on practise days or anyone on here please post them
  17. Go to a local garage and get part worns or just about illegal tyres and some spare wheels dont go with just ya road wheels down there, 245 should be a good size to start with anything smaller and the 350z tends to eat them alot faster i found when running 215/205 On july 13th there is a charity day at norfolk arena normal practise in the day time which i will be driving in my Z then the evening is a competion format which i think some BDC drivers are taking part in All free entry just might get harrased by someone with a bucket asking for change for the charity
  18. Theres a few of us on here that get sideways from what ive seen Im not a professional or competetion goer but i tend to have a drift day once a month down norfolk arena Matt Dedman on here competes in the Fueltopia Barrel sprint and this year gymkhana grid event (He Beat me to it) ^^ I think BDC Driver Ian 'Bizz' Phillips (apologise if thats wrong) is currently building a LS powered 350z based drift car Theres a few more but i cant recall usernames Regarding wheels due to the small area inside the much loved Z i have to have a support car with me to carry and the rule is as many tyres as you bring, Most drift days have a van selling cheap rubber for drifting (ie not road legal) How much you actually use depends on the day and your driving Ive had days at norfolk using a set of tyres in 4-5 runs (5mins each) then ive had days that im doing a set every outing
  19. Having been on the other side of this situation, you deserve it imo if you new she was taken but that another story for another day
