350zUK.com - Insurance scheme with Adrian Flux...............
StevoD replied to DAN@ADRIAN FLUX's topic in Adrian Flux
Just switched to Flux from Sky who quoted £770 flux was £595 for a matching policy Shame you were nowhere near close for my motorcycle most quotes coming in around 400-450 quid you want 660 Have to ask im on a limited mileage policy of 4000 miles now you do not cover me for track days so how does this work with limited mileage as your insuring me for 4000 road miles? not that ii have come close in last 2 years anyway -

Anyone know anything about classic cars, in particular, Mercedes?
StevoD replied to Jay Kay's topic in Other Cars
Would you insure an 03 Jdm zed as a classic? Full Classic Car Insurance is based on more than just vehicle age. There are various other factors such as it being a second vehicle, garaged, limited mileage, social domestic and pleasure use only etc. Regards Dan What if those factors were Second Vehicle garaged ( would on a private drive count or is it only classed as classic if locked up) 3,000 miles a year and only for SDP sorry for the off topic -
And I don't, I just accept things for how they are... I took the same approach to Brexit. I disagree with the uninformed and mislead public making a decision on something they are not qualified to make a decision on, which includes myself. All it takes is a few hours reading to get a little background on what it is your voting for My point being that a little background is nowhere near enough to make an informed decision. - How can you make an informed decision without knowing all the facts? - How can you know all the facts when they aren't provided or are lied about? - How can you make a choice without considering all the implications and knock-on effects? - How can you think you know better than someone with a Master's in economics who spends their life trying to find the best solution? In my opinion, voting under these circumstances would be ridiculous and irresponsible. Yet you get people who can't even manage their own finances thinking they know best how to manage a country... Do two people post from this account?

this is a genuine concern actually as my sister is blind

yup and by millennials who all want it 'Thier' way then stamp their feet and cry because it wasn't so, **** i hate my generation. I know it says liberals but for the most part it might aswell say millennials

And people thought I was bad....
-
We already covered that.... so what are debating over ? you taking a stand over nothing for no reason
-
but your the idea of a voluntary police force already exists http://www.policespecials.com/ If people are not volunteering for this then there not going to do it to join the Civil Avengers although granted Civil Avengers sounds cooler
-
Because why should I do what the police do but for free? Now there will be volunteers but the majority will be of those from the EDL who want to settle a score which isn't going to make things better
-
Repeating myself once again... More people = more chance of being in the right place at the right time. So basically you plan to help the police force out is an unpaid police force ?
-
But there is the chance that a terrorist whips out a knife, starts slashing, and one of the super civvy team is there and tasers him before he can do any harm. It's not going to stop a van, or a bomb, but neither are the police... Or or hear me out this is a bit out there but humor me maybe there is a police officer there. I know I know it's a bit mental to think we can employee police to do this but I think it could just work.

The title is irrelevant, the designated task is what matters. I thought part of TT's suggestion was to teach people what to look out for? However, it also involved giving people the training and equipment to better deal with a situation if necessary. But why not have people specifically on the look out? I don't know about you, but I am not generally on the look out for terrorists... And why not give more people that training? Guy walks into a Bar..............Boooom Bit late for you and your mate to profile him Regarding the video i posted above. the point you know thats a terroist attack is once it has commence. Also how do you train people on what to look out for them you cant? What you train people to look out for middle eastern men with suit cases you looking straight out for a racism claim, or are suspicious of any car with a rental sticker on it now? Also did it occur that you release the info on what to look out for they will change there approach and do it the way oppersite to what your telling people to look for? You dont train people how to look for terrorism you need to train people on how to stay safe in an attack or how to evacuate an attack. There is enough media from London to show people where more than happy to film it than run
-
you make a more composed point. but i have to ask at what point here do you ring the police to stop this happening or even i have to ask at what point is it too late. The thousands spend on training people wouldnt have stopped this. i know this wasnt what we class as a typical terror attack but matching this with the London attacks the only way to stop this is to stop them before they get in the vehicle
-
It's a numbers game. Reduce the ease of an attack where there are lots of people. Even if it's just equipping a team of eyes with comms to report suspicious activity from known sources. Oh so you saying People in Village/towns deserve to die but people in built areas like cites dont?

God this so much atm. I see some many people share @*!# on facebook with a Headline labour will do this or tories will do that etc etc, without even reading the article its sad we live in a time that another dumb **** will see that headline and assume its all 100% fact and share it on. you end up gaining/losing votes on some bullshit that when it all goes over people didn't realize what they were voting for............hmm this sound familiar
