The series is V8 Supercars where every team and 95% of the drivers are Australian. The point I was making is that the only time they race outside of Aus is when V8 Supercars go on tour. Corvettes last year alone won drivers, team and constructors championship in ALMS, won the LM 24 hours every year between 01 and 06 (with 4 1-2 finishes) and are used in GT racing all over the place as they have been for years and years. then why not say that?

They are (nearly) all in the same race series, thats why. Mainly because despite their "heritage" they have only ever raced in one series apart from a few cameos, where Vettes have raced and won in just about everything everywhere. 1) Holdens havent ever raced outside of Australia, so unless youre into Fosters and wearing a vest they are @*!#. but if holden is just GM, ie vauxhall pontiac etc like evrryone saying they are then well they have gto raced in america and monaro race in the middle east 2) A Corvette was a boat a long time before it was a car not overly sure where you going with this ? 3) A 2003 Vette weighs nearly 500lb less than a 2003 Monaro, thats nearly as much as your Mum again not overly sure what thats got do with anything

so what were saying is to put in other terms monaro vxr = s15 silvia spec r covette (chevy flagship) = skyline(nissan flagship) now as the c6 will be a bargin bucket version lets use a lower spec skyline so your telling me a silvia s15 spec r isnt anyway comparable to a r34 skyline gtt infact a monaro and vette are close as the both run the same engine and drivetrain
