Yup it's purely the cost of buying it, not so worried about running costs but not sure I can justify £40 - £50k sitting outside depreciating I managed less than 3000 miles in my Zed last year and that includes Wales. It is on my list though - I have done the 911, which was my aim before 40 I have built a custom Jap another box ticked, I still love playing with the 350's (and it looks like I will be doing another complete rebuild soon) But I would like to say I had owned a GTR before I get to the "otherside" I also like the 370 and that is more affordable not the right word - justifiable I suppose, but my 350 will out run any stock 370 so it sort of becomes doing it because you can not because I want to - and besides I'd soon spend enough on the 370 to make up the difference to a GTR anyway The truth is I don't need a car the problem is I am a petrol head and WANT REALLY REALLY WANT a car if you know what I mean? So, you want something that you can play with, won't depreciate much and can kick the bitches ass? There is imply one option in my opinion. A late R34 GTR! They're just under £30k for a near on perfect example and prices are rising. Engine is easily tunable to well over 600hp and when you're finished with it in 3/5 years, you could sell it for the same, if not more than you paid for it and buy the R35 with money left over Kyle has the right idea for sure, you could build something epic and not lose any money. Or maybe the 33 GTR but im unsure how they hold value

  3. The weather was brilliant so thought after a little wash why not head out to the Grasshopper. Enjoyed a few of the roads, my friends GT86 is supercharged and he was saying he couldn't believe how quick my zed was and its only at 348 atm cant wait for the extra horses! So I hope everyone else took advantage of the weather?! In the video there is one BEEP word, my young excited brother, hope this is still ok mods?

  14. This is my 2nd round with the 350z. I believe I have gained a good understanding from my 1st love along with the endless threads I have read from this great forum. I have made mistakes, mostly buying hastily and having to do things twice. None the less the forum has inspired me and countless others into spending 'Zeditis'. Z Speed Undertray Custom Exhaust Brembo GT Big Brake Kit Ferrodo Pads Defi Gauge Control Box Defi Fuel Pressure Gauge Defi Boost Gauge AEM AFR Gauge Alpine Sat Nav in Cubby To do list at the moment: Styling: Firstly I'm going to be taking a visit to RT Performance to have fitted a Blitz rear spoiler to replace the 4holes which currently make up the boot lid. The two bumpers and skirts currently don't fit flush and are not as secure as I want them to be. The underside of the front arches connecting to the front bumper are annihilated so these also need replacing. The rear bumper as it stands I will be changing for the chargespeed I have looked at the Nismo rear bumper and without large skirts I don't believe it would flow. Eyelids may be on the cards after seeing some aggressive looking eyes on others builds. Engine: Currently it sits at 348hp. I would like to join the 400+ club hopefully by Wales 14. CJM stage 0 fuel return system or AAM basic return Aeromotive 340lph fuel pump or Walbro 255 Injector dynamics 725cc or Deatschwerks 600cc injectors Oil cooler- Stillen atm. Unsure which one yet however, as I need to do more research, recommendations welcome its a fast road build and some track use. If you believe I've missed something even really obvious please state. Suspension/Handling I haven't started looking in detail as of yet. Recommendations welcome.

  16. Fabio its something really worth researching there's a lot involved they have a large thread on 350z.com about the vortech really worth a read has helped me.
  17. I'm after a blitz rear spoiler replica or original, preferably already in WV2 also a chargespeed rear bumper also in WV2.
