  1. Don’t forget to check the shipping spacers are removed. Lots of dealers DONT remove them. Enjoy your great new car.
  2. At least start with a stubby Ariel and get rid of the bumper car look.
  3. I guess they were on a mid week stag night in town.
  4. If you want to mod the Nismo 370z isn’t the car for you anyway.Get a good 350z and mod until your heart is content. Nismo 370z can follow later buddy.
  5. Based in Sussex so if you need any local help give me a shout.

I totally agree JP but the OP seems keen on the numbers. Personally my Nismo is quick enough and I have decided not to do the ecutek remap. I have no interest in numbers from a personal perspective (even though I am an accountant) , it’s about how the car drives for me.

Appreciate HD have a good reputation and not questioning their numbers BUT there are no guarantees with any remap. Its as much about the tuner and what they can get out of it. One tuner will get more out of breathing mods, exhaust, ectuek remap than another. That being said I would not expect to see the results the OP has seen on his Nismo which is less than the 339 It should produce OEM. Given your location I would personally take it along to Mark at Abbey.
  8. Personally I would ceramic coat it rather than wrap it but each to their own.
  9. I have a Mark 2 Pearl White Nismo and love it. Had a modded 350z beforehand. First and foremost make sure Nissan remove the shipping spacers. Many dealers either forget to remove them or claim they have when they haven't. I am getting mine ceramic coated next month (youtube it) if you are not aware of the process. I use Poorboys interior cleaner applied on a sponge to my interior which works a treat. Make sure you use V Power or high octane fuel. Where are you based ? Plan to change the exhaust as it doesn't do the car justice. Photo of shipping spaces still fitted below. Enjoy the ride.
  10. Not a very good photo of them but I had a set for my old 350z. Fantastic and easy to fit.
  11. Thanks for sharing. Looks like this should become a regular meet for you Midlands guys. Good to see some old and new faces.
  12. Good luck.30mm is a significant drop.
  13. Then come to the 100% annual z meet I am arranging for June.
  14. We have the Ace booked all for ourselves in June with 50 spaces. I will be putting a post up next month as I am organising the event.Hopefully we get a good turn out.
  15. As above and as I said a good leather guard will help.
  16. I will alert him when I catch up with him. Click on the appreciation thread below.
  17. I am a short arse at 5ft 5ins but I still find its a bugger to get in and out of elegantly. Its hard not to rub across the bolster. I don't have the answer but I have found using a leather guard protector has helped. You could be OCD and put a small towel over it when you get in and out.
  18. Zippypooz (Steve) is a very close friend of mine. He is one of the best around and has won awards for his wrapping. He has wrapped several members cars and they have all been delighted with his work. Top man in every respect. He is away on a course for a couple of days but I am sure he will get back to you end of the week. Steve will probably use 3M.
  19. ok, as I say I wasn't sure. Looking forward to seeing them fitted,
  20. I could be wrong but I thought the ballast was separate to the light and was screwed onto it. Therefore as I said make sure you get the ballast right. There was a thread on MY350z.com a couple of years ago I read about If my memory is correct.

Doesn't sound right. Stock BHP on the Nismo should be 339 BHP as you have stated.
  23. Looking good. Make sure you get the ballast right when you fit them.
