  1. Buy it and have Taras at RTP fit it. Its not a straight fit and needs fettling. Plenty have brought them and expected them to be a straight bolt on and moaned that they are not. Taras copied and improved the original mold years ago and has fitted many for members on here.
  2. Nice cars. Chargespeed rear bumpers on them both would finish them nicely.
  3. RT Performance Wembley Way. Speak to the owner Taras. Used to be a member trader here. Does servicing and lots of aftermarket z stuff like the chargespeed rear bumper. Did all the work on my old 350z and for many others on here. http://rt-performance.co.uk/
  4. She was blade silver up until about 6 years ago when Tom had her re sprayed in the US only colour of brickyard red.
  5. Toms car is a great purchase, super guy and great friend and community member. Do you know what he has moved on to ?. Will text him too.
  6. Get the lockable custom ones. Cheap as chips. Google is your friend. Just one example below. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Richbrook-Spinning-Anti-Theft-Silver-Alloy/dp/B0039OA4OG/ref=asc_df_B0039OA4OG/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=310513207083&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=13355355171367245284&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9045999&hvtargid=aud-857761465096:pla-619850721061&psc=1
  7. The choice is endless. Personally I think they set the rims off nicely. I had purple ones on my asterism Work Emotions. Stock plastic would have spoiled their look. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_odkw=custom+valve+caps&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=+valve+caps&_sacat=0
  8. Andy. I mentioned Wassos build to you during our many chats. He had his done at the z shed and the wiring loom was the big headache. See you soon mate.
  9. I had custom ones on my 370z Nismo and 350z. The key is making sure they are greased every time you check your tyre pressures which I did every two weeks as a matter of good practice. Do this and you will be fine if you want to avoid using the black plastic ones.
  10. Will try and make this assuming I can bring the old girl on our stand Andy ?. Wont be offended if not.
  11. Offered me £21,500 when they saw my Nismo in the flesh but I managed to sell her for £23k so depends on how desperate to sale you are.
  12. got a copy. Well done mate.
  13. Out of interest what did webuyanycar.com offer you ?. Its a great car for someone but having struggled to sell my Nismo last year I know how tough it can be.
  14. Will be going to plenty Andy so will PM you as and when I am attending, plus all our z meets of course.
  15. We have one that in my opinion is better. Have a look at Simons rocket bunny on here.
  16. All booked for the Sunday Paul. Details to follow in March. Hope all is well.
  17. She drove lovely. So much fun. I love all the little touches like the folding ash trays in the back of the seats etc etc. Shes being tuned and serviced in a couple of weeks but she runs fine. Oil is like honey,
  18. Small update. Got her running for the first time Saturday as she wouldn't fire. Removed the airbox, opened up the pistons on the carbs and injected some petrol in her. Bingo, she fired and purred like a cat. Took her out for a little run (not UK registered yet) and I couldn't stop smiling. Interesting driving a car with now PAS though. Spent the weekend cleaning her and going over the car and shes in incredible condition. First job was to remove the aftermarket spot lights on the front bumper. She looks much better without them. Removed some jap non standard stickers etc and gave the inside a good clean. Some before and after photos with and without spots and the interior. Next up is to fit a nice new period aerial. Coilovers nearly finished so that arch gap will close soon.
  19. Thanks AJ and all. Will post some more when shes had a tidy up this weekend.
  20. Below is my aspiration although the inside has been modded . That's a 4 door and mine is 2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYrnYARQE5s
  21. The day finally arrived yesterday when the new project arrived. Having owned a 2006 DE 350z for a few years and then a Pearl white Mark 2 Nismo 370z and modded both I fancied a change. I looked into 240z/260z but concluded I wanted something Jap, old and retro and super rare. I landed on the Datsun 510. Having spent a few weeks researching the different variants I concluded I wanted a Datsun SSS 1600 Coupe. Research showed that there wasn't another one registered in the UK so the challenge began. After a deep search I found one for sale that was held in the Datsun Heritage Centre in South Africa where it had been homed indoors for the last 8 years of its 50 year old life. After many videos, photos, calls etc I pulled the trigger in October and the process of shipping her began. She finally arrived yesterday and to my delight she met all expectations. Incredibly still in in her original paint and in amazing condition. Whilst waiting for her I sourced a spare 510 suspension and have built a set of coilovers which I will swap out with the suspension currently on the car. (I am not modding her), its just the stock ride height is just too high. She will stay original, attend our meets and classic car shows and be a daily driver in our better months. Anyway enough talking for now, here she is.
